Do not put lighter fluid in the trash or down the drain. It is hazardous waste and can be disposed of at Westchester County's Hazardous Materials Recovery Facility. H-MRF is located on the Grasslands Campus: 15 Woods Road, Valhalla, NY. Schedule a drop-off time here: https://environment.westchestergov.com/h-mrf-reservation

Christmas Light Source is a for-profit company that partners with a local recycler to dispose of old and broken Christmas lights. Proceeds from the recycling are used to buy books to be donated to the Marine Toys for Tots drive. Click here to visit the website for details.

Compact Fluorescent Bulbs (CFLs)
Fluorescent light bulbs contain mercury which is hazardous and must be disposed of properly. They cannot be placed with your waste for pickup.

Alternatively, you can bring all e-waste to Staples, Radio Shack, Best Buy, or any location that sells computer equipment. Call first to be certain they will accept this material, or if there are any restrictions.
