Village Manager

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson operates under a Council-Manager form of government. Under this type of government, the elected Board of Trustees appoints a professional Village Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration of municipal government and implement policies established by the Board. In Croton-on-Hudson, the current position of Village Manager was created in 1971. The Village Manager is the Chief Executive Officer of the Village.

Bryan T. Healy was appointed the fifth Village Manager of Croton-on-Hudson effective August 9, 2021. Mr. Healy previously worked in the Village Manager's office since February 2018. He is a graduate of Iona Preparatory School, Fordham University (B.A., Political Science) and Marist College (Masters in Public Administration). He is a member of the International City/County Management Association, New York State City/County Management Association and Municipal Administrators Association. Mr. Healy resides in Hastings-on-Hudson with his family. In his free time, he volunteers with his local fire department.

In addition to preparing and presenting annual operating budgets to the Board of Trustees, the Village Manager appoints most Village employees. The Village Manager is also assigned other responsibilities, such as the promulgation of parking and traffic control regulations.
