Pedestrian Bridge

Another access to our riverfront is the pedestrian bridge which was constructed with New York State funds and completed in 1999. This handicapped-accessible bridge was constructed from the North Riverside Avenue area of the Village over NYS Route 9 and the railroad tracks to the Hudson River Shoreline. The pedestrian bridge provides a key pedestrian linkage to the Handicapped Accessible Trail which begins at the Croton Yacht Club and runs through Croton Landing along the Hudson River Shoreline. This bridge was completely funded by the New York State DOT at a cost of $2,600,000.
