Join us for an evening starring comic genius Harold Lloyd in his silent film classic “Why Worry?” (1923) and the hilarious short “Ask Father” (1919). Pianist Jesse Beller provides live, original accompaniment – with extraordinary style and flair. Lloyd plays a rich hypochondriac, Harold van Pelham, who sails to the tropics for his health, only to land in the middle of a revolution in “Why Worry?” In the short “Ask Father,” the ardent suitor “Boy” (Lloyd) longs to marry his beautiful girlfriend (Bebe Daniels), but meets with a series of misadventures when attempting to ask her father for her hand. Comic mishaps, romantic rescues and musical magic – Harold and Jesse promise a dynamic performance.
