Forecast for Hurricane Lee & Emergency Prepardeness Resources

Forecast Track - Hurricane Lee

Hurricane Lee will be impacting New England and Atlantic Canada this weekend with strong winds, heavy rains and storm surge. While Lee is forecast to pass well east of our region, the storm serves as a reminder that hurricanes and tropical storms can impact New York and the Northeastern United States.

The Atlantic hurricane season runs through November 30. All residents are encouraged to review the Village's Hurricane Preparedness page, which includes a number of valuable resources and information.

Additionally, all residents are encouraged to register for the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Emergency Notification System so that you can be contacted in the case of real emergencies and timely updates regarding street closures, power outages, water shut-offs, and other matters impacting Village quality of life. The Village's system is integrated with FEMA's national alerting system, Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS), and will provide you with real-time alerts in the event of extreme weather.
