Croton-on-Hudson Tropical Storm Henri Advisory #1

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Henri, which is expected to impact our region on Sunday. The Village has been in communication with Con Edison and the Westchester County Office of Emergency Management regarding preparations and expected impacts. All residents are encouraged to review the information posted on the Village's hurricane preparedness webpage.

At this time, the Village is currently under a Tropical Storm Watch. A Tropical Storm Watch means tropical storm-force winds are possible within the next 48 hours. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Winds are forecast to be in the range of 30 to 40 MPH, with gusts to 55 MPH at times. The timeframe for these winds is Sunday during the daylight hours.
