Croton-on-Hudson 7th Annual Scarecrow Contest
Applications Now Open - Entries Due by October 2nd
The Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce will once again host the Annual Croton-on-Hudson Scarecrow Contest! Entries by individuals, families, teams, schools, churches, clubs, organizations & businesses are welcome! The goal of this contest is to create a gallery of fun, inventive scarecrows throughout the Village. Entries are due by Monday, October 2nd, and winners will be announced Thursday, October 19th. Village-Wide Tag Sale
Saturday, September 23rd, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is pleased to announce that the 5th annual Village-Wide Tag Sale will be held on Saturday, September 23rd. There is a $10 registration fee per household to participate. No listings outside of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson please! A map will be published to highlight each residence that participates. Upper Village Walking Tour
Join Village Historian Marc Cheshire for a walking tour of the upper village of Croton. Explore the history of buildings and streets in the heart of the village. - Hard covers – cardboard or plastic covers on items such as ledger books marble composition books and hard-cover books – cannot be shredded and will be turned away

Harry Chapin Memorial Run Against Hunger
The Harry Chapin Memorial Run Against Hunger will take place on Sunday, October 15th at the Croton-Harmon High School. There's a 1-Mile Fun Run, a 5K Race/Walk, and a 10K Race! The run supports the Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry, Croton Caring, Caring for the Hungry & Homeless of Peekskill, Hillside Food Outreach, Feeding Westchester, WhyHunger as well as international organizations that fight hunger!
