Residential Water Service Line Data Collection Survey

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published the LCR Revisions in January 2021, which requires all community water systems to complete and submit a service line inventory to the New York State Department of Health by October 16, 2024. Your participation in filling out this information will greatly help the Village continue to advance in the progress of this program. The individual information you enter will not be available for public viewing. If you would prefer the Water Department to inspect in person, you can make an appointment by calling 914-862-1419.

As part of the survey, you will be asked to upload a photo of your meter and piping. Below are example photos of Meter and piping coming into buildings - these types of photos are what the Water Department will be looking for! You will also be asked what material your service line is made of - you can use this instructional video from the Department of Health to determine if your pipes are copper, galvanized steel, plastic, or lead. If you are unsure, select "I do not know."
