How Can I Register for the Dog Park?

Thank you for your interest in using the dog park at Black Rock Park! The dog park is open to Village residents who have a valid parks ID card and have their dog licensed by the Village.

If you need to license your dog (New York state law requires all dogs four months and older to be licensed), you can download the form here. Forms may be mailed to Village Clerk, 1 Van Wyck St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520, or deposited into the dropbox outside the Municipal Building. You will receive your dog license tag in the mail.

If you need to obtain a Parks ID card for yourself, you can do so by clicking here. You will receive an ID card in the mail from the Recreation Department.

Once you have your dog license number and Parks ID card number, you can complete the dog park permit application by clicking here. Please also review the dog park rules.

If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact us at 914-271-4781.
