The Met Cloisters Museum - Thursday, September 21, 2023 - 9:30AM - 4:30PM - Fee: $35 ($40)
Adventure into the past on this trip to The Met Cloisters Museum, which is dedicated exclusively to the art and architecture of the Middle Ages. Including a museum and gardens within a single complex, it picturesquely overlooks the Hudson River in Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan and derives its name from the portions of five medieval cloisters incorporated into a modern museum structure featuring over 2000 works of art. Enjoy a guided tour, then have lunch on your own at the Cloister’s Trie Café.
Essex Steam Train and Riverboat - Thursday, October 19 - 8:00AM - 6:00PM - Fee: $75 ($80)
All aboard the Essex Steam Train, a restored 1920’s Pullman. Savor an elegant three course lunch as you travel along the Connecticut River Valley. Next, arrive at Deep River Landing and transfer to the Becky Thatcher Riverboat for a cruise on the Connecticut River where you will enjoy lush scenery and views of historic sites. Finish your journey with a train ride back to the Essex Train Station.

Under the direction of experienced faculty, student chefs, servers, and bartenders at Westchester Community College develop unique themes and menus for a gourmet, three course lunch. The class plans, cooks, and serves each luncheon event. It is a wonderful dining and educational experience for the guests and students alike. Please note: the menu is not announced in advance.
