Join us on a trip to the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Oct 19
Programs for Adults 60+
Posted on: September 28, 2022 - 9:30am
Join Croton Recreation for a day trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Comfortable transportation via a charter bus is provided from the Shop Rite parking lot, and participants can enjoy one or both islands at their own pace. Free audio tours will be available.
As dual symbols of freedom and hope, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty give proof to the story of immigration and recognize the human spirit of our nation’s ideals.
Beautifully restored to its peak operating period, Ellis Island allows park-goers to step into travelers’ shoes for a sense of the immigrant journey.
Liberty Island is home to a beautiful park, a brand new museum, and America’s most iconic symbol of promise and possibility.
Bring a picnic or purchase lunch on your own at the concessions on both islands.
