Officer Profile:  P.O. Mark Frascello

Police Officer Mark Frascello

Police Officer Mark Frascello joined the Croton on Hudson Police Department in January 2023, after having started his career in police work in 2021. Prior to working in Croton, he served in both the New York City Police Department and the Newburgh Police Department.  He came to Croton after a friend suggested he might like the Village of Croton on Hudson.  He loved the Village the first time he visited.  He finds the people he meets to be friendly, and he enjoys getting to know people from all walks of life.

Officer Frascello grew up in Orange County, New York, and was graduated from a State University of New York college, majoring in criminal justice.  He had wanted to be an officer from an early age and his career is everything he had hoped for.  He enjoys the daily challenge of never knowing what is in store, but always appreciates the opportunity to help someone in need and to hold people accountable if they harm someone.  He likes to work with those who might be making bad decisions, and help them to change their life course.

Officer Frascello’s family is proud of him and the work he does.  In his off duty time, he likes to spend time with his family, play soccer and lacrosse, and work out in the gym.
