Narrative: Patrol was notified from a Croton resident they had received a spoof phone call on their house landline. The phone call received showed on their caller ID as a friend of theirs name and cell number. They answered the call thinking it was their friend and another female stated I found this cell phone can you meet me at Dairy Queen. They then realized something was not right and hung up the phone. They emailed their friend who responded back and was fine and also informed the resident someone must have hacked her phone because other friends had gotten in touch with them for the same type of incident. The caller did not provide any information to the unknown party and has no financial loss.

Patrols did not observe anyone on the opposite side of the Croton River.
