Narrative: Patrol received a report from a Croton resident who reported they discovered that an unknown person(s) had attempted to activate seven(7) credit cards from Capital1, Wells Fargo, Express and Nordstrom. Caller stated they have a Nordstrom credit card and called the company after they received an email confirming their email and address change. The representative advised someone had requested the change over the phone and provided their personal information. The resident has since frozen their credit and notified credit monitoring companies. They have had no financial loss at this time.
