Narrative:   Patrol and Croton FD responded to an area on Arrowcrest Dr for a residential carbon monoxide alarm activation.  The scene was handled by CFD, no reported injuries.

Narrative:  Patrols responded to an area on S Riverside Ave for a commercial burglar alarm.  The location was checked and a door was found to be unsecured.  The owner responded to the location and checked the business with no out of the ordinary findings.

Narrative:  Patrol responded to an area on Grand St for an out of state resident reporting they had not heard from a family member and requested the PD to attempt to make contact.  Patrol responded and made contact with the resident who was in no need of any assistance.  They were advised to contact their family member.

Narrative: Patrols investigating a report of a woman losing her red apple shaped wallet the day before.  Owner reports her personal effects, credit cards and license were also in her wallet when lost.  Owner referred to DMV office for new DMV documents.

Narrative: Male caller reporting earlier losing his wallet somewhere in the plaza.  Owner wanted police to be aware in the event the wallet was recovered and turned in.

Narrative: Croton EMS reports that a minor is having a medical issue at the Croton EMS headquarters and the parents of the minor could not be located. Patrols responded. Patrols report that contact was made with the minor female's mother who was on her way to ride with the ambulance. Ambulance was going to hospital.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the parking lot of complex to investigate someone in a car outside that is laying on their horn. Caller states a female then exited the vehicle and is standing outside. The caller then yelled to the female outside the window and learned that she was blowing the horn because someone was in her space.  Patrols able to establish contact with the other vehicle operator who moved their mother’s car. Condition corrected.

Narrative: Village Clerk requests impound for a vehicle for parking scofflaw at the Croton Harmon Train Station lot.  Vehicle has ten unpaid parking tickets and owes $420 in fines.  Patrols responded and confirmed the vehicle is parked in space #260. The tow company responded for the vehicle impound.  Vehicle to be released after owner produces receipt from village court.

Narrative: Resident surrendered three firearms and a Westchester County pistol permit in accordance with a Westchester County Court – Order to Show Cause – Interim Order.  Property vouchered for safekeeping at this time.

Narrative: Patrol responded to an area of Grand Street to investigate a heated verbal argument.  Patrols able to interview several tenants of Grand Street apartment house and determined the three involved tenants have had ongoing disagreements.  Tenants agreed to cease arguing, condition corrected.

Narrative: Resident reporting a vehicle parked his house all day and thinks motorist walked to the train station. Vehicle has an out of state registration. Patrol reports that the vehicle was currently not in violation of any parking ordinances.

Narrative: Resident reports seeing a package for an inflatable holiday decoration near her garbage cans around 3:30pm. She said it was not in a delivery package and thought someone may be porch pirating them and hiding them near her home because at 7pm it was gone.  Patrols to increase patrols of area.

Narrative: Caller in HQ reporting her mother fell and she can't get into the house. Patrol dispatched and was able to gain entry through a window. Patrol requested ambulance to evaluate the party. 60 Control notified and Croton EMS responded. Party refused medical attention.

Narrative: E911 caller reporting she was involved in a five car accident on Route 9 South north of Croton Point Ave and there appears to be no injuries.  Patrols responded and requested EMS for one party due to air bag deployment.  60 Control was notified for EMS and Fire Dept response.  Patrol reported five vehicles involved in accident. All registrations valid.  Three tow's were requested for three disabled vehicles involved.   One operator was transported to WMC.  A report to be filed.

Narrative: Alarm company reporting a commercial fire alarm at residence on Half Moon Bay Dr building #6, with multiple zones activated.  Caller transferred to 60 Control for Fire Department dispatch.  Patrol responded and scene handled by CFD.  It was determined alarm was set off in error.

Call Type: Dogs-at-Large
Narrative: Multiple callers reporting two loose dogs running around on Route 129 near the Croton Dam causing traffic congestion.  Patrols responded to check the area and confirmed a traffic issue and a dog running around.  The dogs were corralled into a private vehicle and the dogs were going to be transported to an animal hospital.  While units were still on scene the owner arrived who took possession of the dogs.  NYSP arrived on the scene and advised another NYSP unit is responding because the two dogs involved had slaughtered over 200 chickens.  Patrol stood by with the owner until NYSP arrived and they will be handling the condition which took place in the Town of Cortlandt.

Narrative: 60 Control via the plectron dispatching Croton Fire apparatus to the area of  Sunset Trail for a gas leak alarm sounding.  Patrol responded with a delay due to prior assignment.  60 Control called and requested Croton police to gain entry to the residence after CON ED received positive readings.  No owner information was located in Impact.  Patrol responded and members of Croton Fire Department forced entry side door glass window.  Patrols able to establish who the homeowner was and made contact with her.  Patrols report DPW personnel able to secure window.  CONED turned the gas off to the residence.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of Old Post Road So and Rt. 129 to investigate a reported vehicle accident. Patrols reported two vehicles involved, no injuries reported.  Patrols to file a MV104 report.

Narrative: Resident requested Croton EMS for her son who had severe pain in his side.  Croton EMS and patrols responded to the residence.  Croton EMS transported the aided to Phelps Memorial Hospital.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched EMS to track 3 in the rear coach for an intoxicated male. Croton patrols, Croton EMS and MTA Police units responded.  Patrols report subject was not intoxicated and was only sleeping.  Subject was ok and did not require medical assistance.  MTA police handled incident

Narrative: Resident reported noticing on Monday, some paint chips on the floor in front of his apartment door on the 3RD floor.  Resident believes someone might have been attempting to force entry through the door and further noticed another apartment door on the same floor as his that was also damaged.  Patrols responded and observed some paint chips on the floor in front of the residents apartment door but there was no doorframe damage.  Supporting paperwork and photos were taken.  Case report to be filed.  Detective Division was notified.

Call Type: Reckless Operation of vehicle
Narrative: Ossining PD called to report they had received a call from a female reporting an erratic vehicle all over the road almost causing an accident on Route 9A in Ossining heading N/B into Croton.  The vehicle was described as a dark color Santa Fe, SUV, bearing a New York plate.  Patrol responded and canvassed the area with negative results.

Narrative: Patrol reports stopping a 2019 Hyundai for an LPR hit of a suspended/revoked registration.  Vehicle registration was suspended two times for having no insurance. The operator, a 48 year old female resident of Shrub Oak NY held a valid NYS license.  Operator was booked and processed roadside.  She was issued summons for VTL 512 Suspended Registration, and VTL 319-1 Uninsured Vehicle.  She was released on her own recognizance with a return date of December 15, 2021.  The operator and passenger were provided a courtesy transport to the Croton Diner.  The vehicle was impounded.

Narrative: E911 caller reporting a friend of his sent him text messages that are worrying him.  He received a text message of a picture that appeared to be on a bridge with feet over the ledge looking down from his friend.  Concerning text messages between the caller and his friend in distress relayed to Croton Police.  Patrols responded and located the party on the Half Moon Bay bridge.  60 Control was notified and Croton EMS responded.  The party’s mother was notified and responded.  The party confirmed the messages he sent but stated he did not want to kill himself but just wanted to see if people cared.  Party was transported voluntarily BLS to WMC.

Narrative: Taxi operator reports being involved in a property damage auto accident at the intersection.   Croton patrols responded and conducted investigation.  All registrations and license checks were valid.  Patrols to file an accident report.

Narrative: Civilian in HQ to report he lost his wallet (brown wallet) somewhere on Grand Street on Wednesday (12/01/2021).  No found property blotters for a lost wallet, no wallet found in lost and found matching that description.  Civilian provided with a DMV MV-78B for his license that was in the wallet.

Narrative: Caller reports she was driving on North Riverside Avenue towards the Tavern and some guy threw something at her vehicle. She claims he told her to slow down.  She states the guy was in process of leaving and the caller did not want to await police.  Caller did not indicate if her vehicle sustained any physical damage.  Patrols responded to the area and report no one approached, no further calls received.  Area checked with negative results.

Narrative: Civilian in CPD HQ reporting he either lost or someone stole his Chase debit card and a Spain consulate ID card.  Civilian stated he arrived at an address on Old Post Road South in an unknown vehicle driven by a friend, to perform contractor work.  He left his wallet in the vehicle which was parked unlocked on the street.  At approximately 1200 hours he last saw the card and two hours later he noticed it missing.  Civilian already canceled the card with Chase.

Narrative: DPW Supervisor reported one of the black metal Village owned street light poles on Grand Street in the vicinity of #124 is significantly bent.  It is not clear if the pole was struck by a vehicle or if an unknown person intentionally damaged the pole.  The area was canvassed with negative results.  Photos were taken of damage pole and attached to the event report.

Narrative: 911 caller reporting single motor vehicle accident at location.  Patrol dispatched to location.  Vehicle comes back valid but the operator, a 20-year-old from Ossining NY was driving with a was suspended license. The next duty tow dispatched for impound of vehicle. Ambulance also dispatched for operator for airbag deployment. Operator stated he was not injured.  Subsequent investigation revealed the operator Mr. Operator was issued a UTT for AUO 3rd and released on his own recognizance.  Luposello’s responded and towed the vehicle. 
Operator has a return to court date of 01/05/2021.  Patrols to complete an MV104 report.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of Route 9 North on the Croton Bridge.  Operator Caller states that she hit her head and is feeling pain.  60 Control notified and dispatched EMS to location.  Patrol requested a tow for the damaged vehicle which was removed from the highway.

Narrative: Resident of Elms St. requested assistance getting her mother up.  She says no ambulance is needed just needs assistance lifting.  Patrol dispatched and corrected the condition.

Narrative: Resident requesting police assistance at her residence. Unknown condition due to language barrier. Patrols dispatched to the residence on So. Riverside Ave to ascertain the issue.  Patrols report that the original calling resident’s son is also on scene and he speaks English. Patrols transported both the caller and her son to police headquarters to file a report for a past harassment. There is an order of protection in place prohibiting male respondent from contacting the reporting person.  She filed a supporting deposition. Patrols report the other subject involved was not on scene and is not currently at his residence.  Patrols to continue investigation and file a case report.
