Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on Old Post Road South for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries and a report will be filed.

Narrative: Patrol and Croton EMS were dispatched to a residence on Sunset Drive for a Croton resident needing medical assistance. Party was transported to the hospital.

Narrative: Caller reported a bear is walking on the aqueduct trail near the Croton Gorge Park and near the top of the Croton Dam where the trail head is at Croton Dam Road. Other police agencies contacted and advised.

Narrative: A Croton resident received a possible scam phone call from someone identifying themselves as a law enforcement officer from Texas. The person stated that they have a warrant for their arrest in Texas. Caller did not give any other identifying information and realized it might be a scam. Caller did not have any warrants under his name.

Narrative: Patrol and Parking Enforcement Officer responded to an area on Brook Street for a parking complaint. No summons issued, and parking enforcement will follow up on the condition.

Narrative: Caller reported a suspicious black "body bag", with tape wrappings binding it together in the shape and size of a human body, washed up on the beach between the Croton Sailing School and the Croton Yacht Club. Patrols discovered the baggage in question was foam wrapped up in a black plastic bag.

Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on Half Moon Bay Drive after a caller reported there may be a law enforcement officer hiding in her residence. Patrol spoke with the caller and checked the residence with negative results. Caller refused medical assistance.

Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on Half Moon Bay Drive after an Ossining caller reported having a verbal dispute at a commercial establishment with a party who fled the location. After further investigation the party who fled the location had stated to the Ossining PD that someone was being held hostage in her place of residence. Patrols discovered who the party was and checked the residence with negative results. Patrol spoke with a parent of the party involved who will be following up with medical services.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a commercial establishment on South Riverside Avenue after receiving a call from the building owner. The building is in the process of being demolished and the property is fenced off with temporary plastic orange fencing. There is no property inside. Approximately 30 minutes in the past, he drove by and observed a male come out from under the fence and run up Brook Street. Caller is concerned because it is not safe. Patrols responded and checked the location with negative results and confirmed the building is not able to be secured.

Narrative: Patrol received a report from a Croton resident who reported someone filed unemployment benefits and had a debit card with their name, using a former Croton address. Caller cancelled the transaction with both of the Departments of Labor and has had no financial loss at this time.

Narrative: A Croton resident called to report a person lying on a park bench in front of businesses on Maple Street. The individual was fine and was given a transport by patrol to a local assistance location.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a commercial establishment on South Riverside Avenue on a report of a customer who had taken an electric shopping cart out of the parking lot. The establishment wanted to make sure the cart gets returned. Patrol located the individual, a regular customer, who was advised and indicated it will be returned.

Narrative: Patrols responded to an area on Route 9 North for a report of a slow moving vehicle traveling on the roadway. The area was canvassed with negative results.

The caller originally thought there were animals going through his garbage. He then purchased a shed to enclose the garbage which had been damaged. The resident then set up a camera to find the source and found it to be a neighbor going through the garbage. Patrols were shown a video and responded to the neighboring residence and advised them.

The caller stated it appears they are driving across their property to the gate to enter the bordering property. Patrols spoke to the neighbor who owns the fence and will cease the operation of vehicles on the neighbor's property.

Narrative: Patrols responded to a location on Ackerman Court on a report of a vehicle that drove onto private property to get past the Village-owned gate and travel down the roadway. Patrols located the vehicle and warned and admonished the driver. No damage to residential property.
