Narrative: Greenburgh Police reported having a subject detained on a traffic stop for whom the Croton PD has an active bench warrant. The warrant is for charges of Penal Law 221.05 (UPM), Vehicle & Traffic Law Section 1180 (Speed), Section 509 (Unlicensed Operation) and 1220.0A (Littering). Greenburgh PD took the defendant into custody and patrols responded to Greenburgh PD to pick up defendant.

Narrative: Caller reported seeing a loose German Shepherd Mix a few minutes ago on Cleveland Drive near Arlington Drive. Patrols dispatched. Area canvassed with negative results.

Narrative: Caller reported a dispute in the ShopRite parking lot involving a male yelling at a female because her shopping cart rolled away and hit his car. The female is locked inside her vehicle. Patrols dispatched; both parties were located, separated and the situation was mediated.

Narrative: 911 caller stated her elderly mother is on the floor and cannot move. Call transferred to 60 Control who dispatched an ambulance. Patrols dispatched. Aided transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

Narrative: Caller stated there is noise, possibly a party, in the parking lot of the Carrie E. Tompkins Elemntary School. Patrols dispatched. Patrols report the noise was the result of maintenance workers from the school using equipment.

Narrative: Alarm company called to report an alarm activation (front office motion). Alarm company stated there was a staff member on scene but he did not have the proper code. Patrols dispatched. Patrols reported no one on scene but the building was secure.

Narrative: Caller reported a man walking on Route 9 South entering from Croton Point Avenue. Patrol checked the area with negative results.

Narrative: Caller reported mattress debris on the Route 9 South entrance ramp at Croton Point Avenue. The NYS Dept. of Transportation was notified.

Narrative: Caller reported that while he and his wife were out taking a walk, his wife dropped her cell phone. A contractor working at their neighbor's house took the phone and will not give it back. Patrol dispatched. Patrol reported that there was a language barrier and that after speaking to all parties, the phone was returned.

Narrative: A school employee turned over a Chase Visa card which was found at Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School. A call to the owner was attempted with negative results. Card placed in lost and found.

Narrative: Caller reported a disabled semi truck on Route 9 North on the Croton River bridge. The caller reported that the truck appeared to have dropped its transmission in the roadway. Patrols dispatched and reported that the vehicle is pulled off the roadway onto the shoulder. A tow truck was on the scene and the debris was removed from the roadway.

Narrative: Officer reported being notified by a school official of a student who has not been attending school. The official requested that the officer make contact with the student. Officer reported negative contact at the student's listed address.

Narrative: Party in police HQ dropped off an iPhone he stated he found by the church. Owner of the phone called and the desk Sergeant answered to notify them that the phone was at police headquarters. Owner arrived and retrieved her iPhone.

Narrative: Caller stated that someone at Sunset Park locked their keys inside their vehicle and asked them to call the police for assistance. Patrol dispatched. Patrol gained entry into the vehicle.

Narrative: Caller reported a general burglary alarm activation at a residence. Patrol dispatched. Patrol reported no answer at the door and the perimeter appeared secure.

Narrative: Civilian in headquarters with a black dog she found in the area of Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School. Caller stated the dog was friendly and jumped in her car. Contacted the owner via a phone number that was listed on a tag on the dog's collar and the owner responded to headquarters and collected the dog.

Narrative: Caller reported a Hispanic woman holding a baby and a sign asking for food and money at the entrance to the ShopRite shopping center. Patrols dispatched. Patrols advised the woman she is not permitted to solicit. Patrols stated they bought the woman a slice of pizza and she left the area in her car.

Narrative: Caller reported people in the Black Rock Dog Park with dogs after hours. Patrol dispatched. Patrol advised the occupants that the dog park was closed and they left the area.

Narrative: MTA Police called for assistance at the Croton-Harmon Train Station for a conductor having a fare dispute with a passenger and that they were 10 minutes out. Patrols dispatched. Patrols reported the MTA Police were already on scene and did not require assistance.

Narrative: Caller reported hearing a gunshot and saw a bird fall near the sidewalk. Patrol located a dead bird. No other calls were received and patrol was not able to locate where the shot originated.

Narrative: Patrol and Croton EMS responded to Grand Street for an 86-year-old Croton resident who was feeling dizzy. Croton EMS transported aided to Phelps Memorial Hospital.

Narrative: Patrol and Croton EMS responded to South Riverside Avenue for an 82-year-old Montrose resident who fell on the sidewalk. Croton EMS transported aided to Phelps Memorial Hospital.

Narrative: Patrol responded to Croton Point Avenue for a report of a car that collided into a tree. A 40-year-old Peekskill resident was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (Blood Alcohol Content more than 0.18%). Defendant was released on his own recognizance with a return court date of 3/23/2022 at 9 a.m.

Narrative: Caller reported he is scared to take out his garbage because there is a raccoon sitting on his front steps. Caller stated the raccoon did not appear to be sick. Patrol responded and scared off the raccoon.

Narrative: Multiple callers contacted the Croton Police Department over the past two days to report an unknown person withdrew funds from their bank accounts using an ATM at Wells Fargo.
