Patrols responded to Route 9 to check for the vehicle. Shortly thereafter the vehicle was seen north of Croton on Route 9 and was continuing northbound.

At around 1:03 pm, patrols responded to the same residence for another activated alarm. This time the alarm was audible outside the residence. Patrols checked the residence which appeared secure. The owner was contacted and was able to return home to reset the audible alarm.

Narrative: A caller reported that a dog may have been hit by a vehicle in the area of Grand Street. No description of the vehicle was given. At that point the owner of the dog was able to get on the phone and reported that the dog ran out from her backyard into the roadway. Nobody had actually seen the dog get hit by a vehicle. The owner reported that the dog appeared ok but frightened and that she was leaving to take the dog to the veterinarian.

After investigation, a resident of Cortlandt Manor was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration as well as other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. they also had a bench warrant issued by the Village of Croton Court.

Child appeared to be about 5 years old and the caller had seen the child walk across the pedestrian bridge and then along South Riverside Avenue. Patrols located the child, who was 6 years old, and returned the child to his residence on Grand Street. Patrols spoke with the mother of the child who had been unaware the child had left the residence.

Narrative: A caller reported witnessing a gray sedan swerve across 3 lanes of traffic, strike a guiderail, and stop on the shoulder on Route 9 near the Croton Point Avenue exit. Patrols dispatched and checked the area but could not locate the vehicle. A patrol officer then located a vehicle matching that description with damage at a gas station on Croton Point Avenue. Three males were standing next to the vehicle but none of them would cooperate when the officer asked if they were involved in the accident.

Patrols then stood by while the female got picked up by a taxi.

Desk officer then determined that the caller may be a patient of a hospital and not at his residence. A local nursing home was contacted and it was confirmed that the caller is a resident of the nursing home and not at his residence near Bank Street.
