Narrative: Patrol reported stopping a vehicle for vehicle and traffic offenses. A 29-year-old Stratford, CT resident was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and aggravated unlicensed operation. Operator was issued summonses and released on her own recognizance.

Narrative: A caller reported that earlier in the day, two males showed up at her residence claiming to be Homeland Security.  The caller stated that the men claimed to be investigating a fraudulent check incident involving her husband. After a few minutes of conversation, the caller stated that the men left on foot. The subjects involved were identified and confirmed to be agents from Homeland Security.

Narrative: Multiple callers reported that several bags of sand were spilled onto the highway. Patrols responded and located about fifteen bags of sand spilled out on the road. NYS DOT was contacted for a crew to respond to the location.  Patrols set flares out and directed traffic. Patrols were able to move the sand off the roadway and onto the shoulder with tools from MTA.

Narrative: A caller reported that a large crowd on Fireman's Island was having a barbecue with charcoal. The CPD Marine unit was not in the water at the time. A Park Ranger responded and reported that he was unable to make contact with the group.

Narrative: A caller reported that someone entered his residence without permission and stole a large amount of cash and numerous jewelry items valued at approximately $6,000.00. After an investigation, the Croton Police Detective Division arrested a 53-year-old female from Peekskill for Burglary in the 2nd Degree and Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree. The subject was released after posting $600.00 cash bail.
