Narrative: Residents called reporting she had a TD credit card opened up in her name. She was able to cancel it and believes it was taken from her mailbox sometime after 1/19/2022. She does not have any cameras facing her mailbox and does not want to fill out paperwork or pursue charges at this time.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched to Route 9 South near Croton Point Avenue exit ramp for a motor vehicle with injuries. Croton patrols and Croton ambulance dispatched to the scene.  Patrols report no injuries and will file an accident report.

Narrative: Empire State Recovery on Church Street to repossess a Nissan Rogue.  Repossession order received.   The owner was at work and indicated her parents were confused what was occurring. Patrols responded to location to explain to parents about car being repossessed.  Patrols report parents ok and aware of what took place.  Owner aware of repossession and how to follow up.

Narrative: Resident requests an ambulance for herself, states she is experiencing difficulty breathing.  She was relayed to 60 Control who dispatched Croton EMS.  Croton patrols responded to residence and report aided transported to a local area hospital.

Patrols dispatched to residence and made contact with the ex-wife who would not open the door to them but did speak to them through a glass door.  She states she is fine and was made aware of her family's concern.

Narrative: Resident reports driving his car through a snow bank, a fence and into a pool on his property.  He states he is not injured and his air bags did not deploy.  Croton patrol dispatched to scene and report a 2015 white Toyota, will need to be pulled out of an in-ground swimming pool.  Tow service contacted and responded, patrols to complete an accident report.

Narrative: Caller states there is a male walking in the roadway at location.  Patrols dispatched.  Patrols report locating male and advised him to stay off roadway. The male subject complied.

Narrative: Civilian in HQ reporting that he was told by his lawyer to turn himself in for a warrant. Party was placed in cell and awaited New York State Police / Cortland barracks to send an officer for the warrant. Suspect transferred to state police.
6:30 PM- State Police requested a local judge to a have the defendant released upon his own recognizance at the request of the District Attorney’s Office.  Judge Green responded for arraignment.  The defendant’s attorney also responded for court. The defendant was released on his own recognizance with a return date of February 9th at 9 a.m.

Narrative: Caller reporting what appears to be a ladder on the highway on Route 9 South after the Montrose exit. Patrol dispatched and report the ladder has been removed from the highway.

Narrative: Staff reports there are multiple parties soliciting without a permit in front of ShopRite.  He asked parties to leave the area and they refused. Patrol responded to area and advised the parties they are not allowed to solicit without a permit. All parties left the scene without incident.

Narrative: State Police called stating there is a car vs deer accident at Old Post South and Cleveland Dr.  Croton patrols dispatched and report owner of vehicle requested a tow.  Tow  notified and responded. Patrol reports deer is dead and was removed to the side of the road on Cleveland Dr.  Patrols to file an accident report.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched Croton EMS and paramedics to track one coach car two at the Croton Harmon Train Station for a medical aid.  Female reportedly with a cut on her leg.  Croton patrols responded to train station and report Metropolitan Transportation Police units on scene.  Uncooperative female declined further medical assistance.  Patrols report she declined to provide her identity.

Narrative: Resident reports her daughter was involved in a minor property damage auto accident in front of the high school.  Her daughter was operating a blue Subaru and the other car is a Volkswagen.  Patrols dispatched to location.  Patrol to file report.

Narrative: Caller reports she and her husband were just out for a walk and while walking in the crosswalk on Municipal Place at the entrance to Route 9 north, they were almost hit by a black Audi A7 that beeped at them before speeding onto Route 9 north.  The caller took photo of vehicle but license plate is blurry, plate is blue and gold New York plate.  Patrol dispatched.  And canvassed roadway with negative results.  Caller forwarded photo to department email, license plate unreadable.

Upon arrival the male was speaking with a business representative who notified him that he was banned from the building for not complying with mask rules. Male agreed to exit the area. Narrative: Civilian in Police HQ reporting his truck is stuck on the ice near Quaker Bridge in New York State Police jurisdiction.  Civilian states he was driven to Croton Police Headquarters by a passerby.  State Police notified and advised to notify Department of Transportation of ice condition.  Patrol gave civilian a courtesy ride back to his truck and was able to guide him from the icy patch and back on his way.

Narrative: Caller reports she heard two loud bangs outside possibly a transformer.  Patrol dispatched to area and report all appears to be in order, no loss of power in area reported.

Narrative: Caller reporting that she hasn't heard from her sister since Friday morning 02/04/2022. Caller further reported that her sister contacted her Friday morning from a hospital in Washington DC.  Caller reports she contacted the hospital and was advised her sister had been released on Friday. Caller stated she contacted District of Columbia Police to report her sister missing and was told she needed to contact the police department where she lives.  Information for missing person’s report taken and photo attached to blotter. Message sent on slack.
 
Patrol dispatched to residence and report no answer at the door. Patrol also reports the vehicle belonging to missing party was not at location.  Further investigation determined the sister was currently under arrest in Baltimore Maryland and is being held at Baltimore Central Booking.
Amtrak Police confirmed their officers had contact with missing person on 02/05/2022 and did place her into custody.

Narrative: Caller reporting receiving packages which she believes to be illegal drugs sent to her deceased father. Caller reports a similar incident already reported. Caller did not open these packages but states they match the same ones previously received.  Patrol dispatched and report obtaining the property from caller. Patrol recovered the packages and placed them into evidence locker at Croton Police Headquarters.   Investigation continuing.
