Narrative: Caller reports multiple CO detectors in his home have been activated.  Caller states none of the occupants in the house are experiencing any symptoms.  60 Control notified.  Patrols dispatched, call handled by Croton Fire personnel.

Narrative: Cell phone caller reports a male operating dark gray or black Audi sedan at high rate of speed on Route 9 North passing the Senasqua Road exit.  Croton patrols dispatched, patrols checked the highway with negative results.

Narrative: Caller reports a dark colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, just struck and damaged a small sport utility parked near the Old Post Liquors and then leave the scene.  Croton patrols responded and located a 2007 gray Suzuki parked unoccupied and spoke to owner.  No damage on vehicle. No further action taken at this time.

Narrative:  JM security operator called to report a residential alarm at Old Post Road North.  Residence.  Patrols dispatched, while responding to the alarm the homeowner canceled police response.

Narrative:  Resident reports that while walking on Grand Street she observed embers and thick black smoke coming from the chimney of a house next to Ideal Kitchen and Bath and was concerned it could be a structure fire.  Patrols dispatched and report speaking to a resident who did not provide pedigree information.  The resident stated he had a fire going in his wood burning stove and all was in order.  No further action required.

Narrative: Cell phone caller reports a one car motor vehicle accident involving a deer. Patrols report the deer was killed on North Riverside Avenue near Wolf road.  Patrol reports a 2018 Hyundai involved. Accident report to be filed.  DPW personnel notified to have carcass removed.

Narrative: Resident in H.Q.’s with family court paperwork to be served upon his ex-wife. Patrol dispatched to serve paperwork.  Patrols report no answer at door. 
 
01/11/2022 4:15 PM, Pelham Manor Police phoned Croton police and report both parties involved are at Pelham Manor PD.  A copy of affidavit and order of protection scanned and emailed to Pelham Manor PD and patrols served paper work upon respondent.

Location: Van Wyck Shopping Center – Maple St
Call Type: Public Assistance
Narrative:  Resident reports losing her car key in the parking lot of shopping center.  She states she left her car running while she went into a store.  When she came out of the store, her car was not running and there was no key inside the vehicle. Patrol reports assisting caller in looking for vehicle key with negative results.  Patrol observed surveillance footage from video camera that shows a white male, 40's, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, open the driver side door of vehicle, remove key from ignition, shut driver side door and walk away.  Owner of vehicle had vehicle towed from lot.
 
At 6:00 pm the vehicle owner responded to Police HQ with information on who may be involved in earlier incident.  Patrol able to make out the person responsible for turning off her vehicle and removing the key.  Patrol notified individual and were able to retrieve car key and return it to owner.  Patrols report condition corrected and investigating further.

Narrative: Caller reporting a motor vehicle accident on 9N/CPA. Patrol on scene report the accident occurred in Ossining. Ossining police notified and responded to conduct investigation.

Narrative: Resident states her CO2 alarm in her residence activated and then stopped.  Call transferred to 60 control and CFD apparatus dispatched, Croton patrols responded to residence to assist.  Patrol reports CFD personnel checked location and all is ok.

Narrative: Dig Safe calling to request a water department notification on Benedict Blvd for a sewer service.  Croton Water Department personnel notified and handling.

Narrative: Female employee of local Auto dealership reports a woman is back at their business saying she is trying to get to Canada and needs a car.  Croton patrols dispatched and report the female did not want to speak to them nor did she require assistance.  Female went on her way, declining assistance.

Narrative: NYSP report receiving a phone call from an alarm company for a general burglary alarm at local residence.  Croton patrols dispatched and report alarm set off in error by homeowner.

Narrative: Caller reports a possible hit and run in the parking lot of Croton landing approximately ten minutes in the past.  The caller is no longer on scene, states she was walking back to her car and heard what she believed to be a car crash in the lot, she looked and saw a white sedan possibly strike the rear of a parked black sedan.   Patrol responded and canvassed the parking lot and located a 2008 black Volkswagon and a 2007 white Honda Civic that may have been involved but nothing confirmed.  Patrols to follow up.

Narrative: Caller reports that he walked by an aggressive dog at the intersection of Albany Post Rd and Warren Rd. Caller stated that the dog was unleashed in someone's yard and it scared him. Upon arrival only one dog was in the area. The dog was in a completely fenced in yard. Caller did not want to give any more information.

Narrative: Cell phone caller reports an elderly male walking southbound on Route 9 north between Senasqua road and the Montrose / Buchanan exit. Patrols responded and located a male who identified himself.  eJustice shows possible match on a bench warrant for subject out of NYPD warrant issued for P.L. 265.02 - possession of weapon.  NYPD warrant squad contacted via phone, hit confirmation sent via eJustice. NYPD declined to extradite subject.  Patrols transported subject to train station without incident.

Narrative: Employee of local company reports getting into an argument with a co-worker and wants to file a report.  Croton patrols dispatched and interviewed the caller who states he and his co-worker had a verbal dispute and his co-worker is no longer on scene.  Blotter entry sufficient, no further action taken.

Call Type: Missing Person – Welfare Check
Narrative: MTA Bridge & Tunnel Authority requests a welfare check on local female resident. MTA Bridge & Tunnel Authority report locating an abandoned vehicle on the Bronx bound span of the RFK bridge yesterday morning.  Local female sought is known to this department and has a history of mental illness.
NYPD 13th precinct refused to take missing person's report from her and asks to have report filed here.  Information taken from sister of missing person.  A missing person report was sent via eJustice portal, message sent on slack.  Real Time Crime reports a license plate reader hit on missing persons Toyota on 1/7/2022.   eJustice shows sister contacted Croton Police and reported that she had spoken to her sister who was reported missing.  Patrols conducted a welfare check upon the local resident reported missing.  Patrols located her at her residence and she indicated she was okay and did not need any further assistance.  She was on the phone with her sister while patrols spoke with her.

Narrative: Resident reporting a black dog standing by his garbage cans and when he went outside the dog chased him back into his house. He indicates he was not bit by the black dog only chased.  Patrol dispatched and located the dog on Emerson Avenue.  Patrols report no issues when returning the dog to its owner.

Narrative: NYSP requesting patrols be on look out for a white chevy cargo van, A license plate reader hit on Route 9 South at bay street in Peekskill was received ten minutes in the past. The vehicle operator, a 43 year old white male, is wanted for menacing with a knife during a road rage incident and aggravated unlicensed operation. Croton patrols dispatched to be on the look-out.

Narrative: NYSP reports receiving a phone call from Croton resident of Maple street reporting an activated co detector with symptoms.  60 Control dispatched Croton Fire/CEMS apparatus to residence, patrols responded to location.  Fire personnel report a low level of CO2 detected inside residence.  Resident refused further medical assistance.  Croton Fire personnel handling.

Narrative: Croton Fire Chief reports an unknown vehicle struck and damaged a CFD fire chief's vehicle sometime overnight. Patrols report 2010 white ford expedition involved. MV104 accident report to be filed.

Narrative: School Official CHHS called reporting one of the students is on a school computer at home searching ways to kill himself.  Several attempts to contact the parents were negative.  Copies of what the student was searching on the computer have been preserved. Croton patrol and EMS dispatched to residence. Aided voluntarily being transported to Westchester Medical Center.

Narrative:  Resident reports a low hanging wire on road that he has called about several times in the past and has still not been fixed. Patrol dispatched to check the area and reports a low hanging wire that may be a cable wire attached to pole w5 on Glengary Rd. Verizon police line notified and a crew will respond.

Narrative: Female resident in Police HQ reporting she met a male online and went on a few dates with him.  Female states the male has been persistent on numerous social media sites in an attempt to continue seeing her.  Female states that she has blocked him on some of the sites and told him multiple times to stop contacting her but that has not stopped him from pursuing her.  Patrol spoke with complainant and report that female has a message exchange from today between the two during which female stated to male she has a boyfriend and to stop contacting her.  Patrol completed a domestic incident report and obtained a written statement in regards.  Patrol to attempt to contact male to advise him to cease all contact with female.  If contact persists, Patrol advised female to contact Police and also Family Court to obtain a temporary order of protection.
