Narrative:  Resident requests Croton ambulance for his wife who fell injuring her arm. Caller was transferred to 60 Control.  Croton ambulance and patrols dispatched to residence.  Aided transported to a local hospital.

Narrative: New York State Police reporting a female resident in distress.  Patrols responded and after further investigation had a Croton ambulance respond to the scene to transport the aided in extreme emotional distress.  Resident transported in ambulance with police escort to local hospital for further medical treatment.

Narrative: cell phone caller reports two large black and white dogs loose on Scenic Drive. Patrols responded and report area was checked with negative results.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched the Croton Fire apparatus to residence for odor of natural gas, Con Edison already on scene.  Patrol dispatched to residence. The owner called to report the odor of gas left the house, but left his dogs inside and forced entry may be necessary.  Owner returned home while patrol was on scene.  Code Enforcement to respond to residence.  Fire Department and Code Enforcement to follow up.

Narrative:  Caller reports a loose dog running around the parking lot of Croton Landing.  Patrol dispatched.  Patrol reporting the dog was reunited with its owner.

Narrative: Patrol reports there is a woman walking on the shoulder of Route 9 South, south of the Montrose Exit heading south.  Patrol reports the woman states she is walking home to Croton where she lives and refused to give any pedigree information or allow patrol to give her a courtesy ride off of the highway.  Patrol followed the woman until she exited the highway at the Senasqua Exit.

Narrative: Caller reporting a male adult with altered mental status and Croton EMS ambulance being dispatched.  Patrols responded and report all is under control and the male was transported advanced life support to a local hospital.

Narrative: Mobile phone caller reports injured swan on the Quaker bridge blocking traffic.  Croton patrols dispatched. Patrols report the swan was gone upon patrols arrival.

Narrative: Resident in Croton Police Headquarters to report two lost license plates.  Owner issued a Department of Motor Vehicle form MV78b.  The plates weren't removed from the vehicle when turned in to the dealership.

Narrative: Motorist reports being in an auto accident near BP gas station.  Patrols responded to area and reports no one approached patrols.  Further investigation revealed the accident happened near the BP station on Albany Post Road in Cortlandt.  State Police to handle.

Narrative: Received a call from The Monitoring Station Alarm Company stating there was a general burglary alarm. Patrol responded. Patrol made contact with a friend of the owner, who stated he gave the alarm company the proper code.

Narrative:   Resident reports a woman has fallen down and cut her face, patrols dispatched to location.  60 Control notified and dispatched Croton ambulance.  Patrols report aided being transported to a local hospital by Croton ambulance.  Notification made to the daughter of aided.  She was informed of incident and the hospital her mother was transported to.

Narrative: The alarm company reporting an activated burglar alarm in room 104.  Patrols responded to check building, night key holder responding to school as well.  Patrols report building check with key holder, patrols reporting all appears secure.

Narrative 60 Control dispatched Croton EMS ambulance to residence for an adult male who is having difficulty breathing and may have unintentionally overdosed on medication.  Patrols dispatched with the ambulance and report the aided is conscious and alert.  Patrols report the aided was transported to a local hospital.

Narrative: New York State Police request back up on traffic stop on the highway near the 129 exit.  Two unmarked state police units have a vehicle stopped wanted in connection with a road rage incident several weeks ago.  Vehicle stopped is a 2004 gray Acura.  While patrols were on scene, cell phone caller reports seeing two black males sitting inside a parked dark gray jeep on North Riverside Avenue near the tavern watching the traffic stop.  Information relayed to patrols and the state police.

Narrative: Supervisor for Metro-North reports a fire hydrant is leaking water next to the Burchetta Electric building.  Contacted Croton Water Department who was responding to location to handle.

Narrative:  911 hang-up call received, patrols responded to residence and met local resident.  Patrols confirmed resident mis-dialed.

Narrative: Resident reports the neighbor is throwing snow/ice onto Farrington Road.  Patrols responded and interviewed subject involved.  Patrols issued a summons to subject involved for violating village ordinance section 197-15-F.  Patrols to follow up filing a violation accusatory instrument with village court.

Narrative: DPW calling to report they were notified by the alarm company of a general burglary alarm at the parking trailer in the Croton Harmon Train Station lot.  Patrol dispatched to check building.  Patrol reports the building is secure.

Call Type: Auto Accident – Hit & Run
Narrative:  Caller reports a rear end collision involving two vehicles.  Patrols responded to location.  Additional call received from the operator of the Toyota Camry which was rear ended.  Operator of Camry reports the other vehicle was a red sporty type car with hatch back.  He reports the other operator was a male white in his forties with a scrappy beard and overweight.  He indicates the other driver exited the red vehicle and appeared intoxicated.  The man then got back in the red vehicle and drove south on Rt. 9 A.  Patrols checking village for vehicle that left the scene.  Patrols report seeing a red sporty sport utility on Maple Street.  Surrounding police departments provided information and were having patrols be on the look-out.  Patrols to continue investigation.

Narrative: Resident reports a truck appears disabled on Rt. 9 A near Arrowcrest Dr.  Patrols responded to the area and located the truck. Patrols gave directions to driver back to Route 9, all ok.

Narrative: Resident reports she heard a large bang and her power went out.  Caller states she believes it might be a transformer.  Con Ed Emergency electric notified and stated they do have an outage in that area and are sending out a technician.

Narrative: Contractor working on Benedict Blvd reports that the neighbors of the residence are coming out and bothering his workers even though his workers have a permit to perform the work. Contractor requested the police respond. Patrols dispatched and spoke to contractor and homeowner as well as neighbors.  Patrols report no violations have occurred and condition corrected for now.

Narrative: Resident reports her child gets on the bus at the intersection of Truesdale and Nordica  Drive at 7:48 am and that between 7:45 and 7:50, a black pickup truck speeds up Nordica Drive and does not stop at the stop sign at the intersection. She reports this morning the bus was picking up her child when the truck came through and she put her arm out to signify to the driver that her child was crossing the street to get on the bus. She says at the last minute the truck did stop and did not pass the school bus.  She reports this happens several mornings every week and she is worried that the vehicle is being operated unsafely especially since the school bus stops there. Patrols to monitor location.

Narrative: Resident believes he saw a girl walking on the ice on pond.  Patrols responded and report no one is walking on the pond ice.  Few park goers in area but not on pond.

Narrative: Resident on Darby Avenue reports a juvenile middle school to high school aged banged on her front door claiming to be looking for person by the name of ‘Livingston.’  Subject was wearing blue clothing and left going towards Olcott Ave.  Patrols responded and checked neighborhood.  Patrols did speak with some kids walking on Radnor Avenue and they reportedly did not see anything suspicious.  Patrols patrolled the area further.

Narrative: Caller reporting he was travelling on Route 129 and opposite the entrance to the Gorge Park large chunks of ice have fallen off the rocks and landed on the shoulder and the caller is concerned that more ice will fall off into the roadway.  Town of Cortlandt highway dept notified.

Narrative: 911 hang-up at a local business on So. Riverside Ave.  On the 911 callback, the caller answered the phone and state's the mobile phone was in her pocket and must've mis-dialed.  Patrol dispatched.  Patrol states all in order at that location.

Narrative: Caller reports a black male, possibly homeless, is begging for money in front of the Mini Deli.  Patrol dispatched to location.  Patrol reports the male does not require any assistance, refused to provide any pedigree info, and is sitting in front of the Mini Deli where he is eating food he just purchased.

Narrative: USA Central calling to report a burglary alarm at Temple Israel, motion signal.  Patrol dispatched.  Patrol reports the building appears secure and there is no sign of entry. 
2:37 PM;  USA Central calling to report another burglary alarm activation, 1st FL motion.  USA Central reporting they are unable to contact a key holder.  Patrol dispatched.  Patrol again reports the building is secure and there is no sign of entry.

Narrative: Resident reports her daughter and her friends were approached yesterday at Senasqua Park by an adult male in his thirties.   She put her daughter on the telephone and she reports between the hours of 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm a male about thirty years of age, with brown wavy hair, light olive skin tone and facial stubble approached her and her two friends by the picture tunnel.  The man was wearing a white shirt and a black jacket.  She reports they noticed the man walk passed their location several times first.  He then approached them stating his name was 'Eddie' and inquired if they had Instagram accounts and if they would provide theirs.  He then asked the girls for their mobile numbers.  The girls declined to provide this information and the man then walked back towards the park.

Narrative: Multiple calls reporting ice has fallen onto Rt. 129 opposite the Croton Gorge park.  Patrols dispatched to the area, State Police contacted and were dispatching trooper.  Patrols set out flares and reports road is obstructed.   Croton patrols stood by and set up flares and did some traffic control.  State Police are aware and will assess and make notifications to State Department of Transportation.

Narrative: Resident reports a man appearing to be homeless described as a male black wearing a hefty coat is in park on right with beer cans/bottles around him.  Patrols responded and reports subject is sitting down having some food.  Patrols provided the location of a shelter in Peekskill and the man indicated he may head there later.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched Croton Fire apparatus to Wood Road residence for a wire sparking, Rescue 18, Engine 118 and Utility truck 14 responded to residence.   Alarm updated to full department response.  Patrols report Fire department personnel on scene handling.

Narrative: Resident reports three kids wearing backpacks are walking over to the entry way for the Historic Hudson Valley - Van Cortlandt Manor.  Patrols responded to the location and report no issues, the kids were now walking up South Riverside Avenue.

Narrative: Caller reports he may have lost his wallet while attending a funeral service yesterday at the Holy Name of Mary Church.  Caller reports the wallet is brown and was advised to place his credit and bank cards on hold.  A message was left on the church's voice mail to call the police department if they find any lost wallets.  Owner in headquarters and was provided with an Department of Motor Vehicle form for his lost license.

Narrative: Caller reports he observed a gray BMW, 2-door, with an elderly male driver, pull over and stop on the side of Route 9 North just north of the Senasqua Exit.  Caller states the driver appeared to be confused and requests that someone check on him.  Patrols dispatched.  Patrols report the vehicle is gone on arrival.

Narrative: Caller reports the carbon monoxide detectors in the house are going off.  Caller reports none of the home's residents are experiencing symptoms.  60 Control notified and dispatching the fire department.  Patrols responded to residence.  Patrol states fire department on scene checking the home

Narrative: Caller reports there is a contractor working at Half Moon Bay Drive residence and his work truck (a white pickup truck) is blocking her driveway.  Caller states she asked the contractor to move the truck and he laughed at her.  Patrols dispatched to check condition.  Patrols report the truck is gone on arrival.

Narrative: Caller reporting a black male who appears to be homeless has been in front of his store for the past two hours begging for money.  Patrols dispatched and moved the subject along.  Patrols report this is the same homeless subject they have been dealing with over the past two days and that he does not want to go to a shelter.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched Croton Fire apparatus for a fire alarm activation. Patrol dispatched to residence and report stove set off the alarm from cooking.  Fire department personnel handling.

Call Type: Domestic Incident
Narrative: Resident states her intoxicated son in emotional distress is trashing the house and yelling at her. She said he came home and started drinking. She said he may have a knife on him. Patrol advised, went in and detained the subject without force.  Patrol did confiscate a pocket knife from his person.  Subject involved told patrol he wanted to go to the hospital.  Resident called crisis intervention as well to let them know. 60 Control notified and Croton ambulance responded. Patrols also rode down in the ambulance to local area hospital.  Patrol completed a domestic incident report and confiscated the pocket knife for safekeeping.
