Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of Bari Manor for a male having a medical issue. Croton EMS also responded and transported the male to the hospital.

Narrative: The Croton Schools Transportation Department notified the Croton PD of an early dismissal affecting the Croton Schools. Croton PD notified school crossing guards of the hour change.

Narrative: Caller reported that her vehicle is disabled in the area of Route 9 and the Montrose exit. Patrols dispatched and report vehicle slid off the roadway. Patrols requested a tow truck and remained on scene while a tow truck pulled the vehicle out of the snow.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the Duck Pond on a report of individuals walking on the ice. Upon arrival, patrols report nobody was on the ice. Patrols did locate two teenagers in the area and did provide a courtesy ride for them due to the inclement weather.

Narrative: A female caller in the area of Olcott Avenue reports having a parking issue involving the snow and her neighbor. Patrols responded and were able to correct the condition for the time being.

Narrative: Caller, a resident of Thompson Avenue, reported eggs were thrown onto his driveway at two different times during the morning hours on 2/22. Caller also reported finding silly string on his porch. Caller did not see anybody commit the act. Patrols checked the area and could not locate any other similar incidents.

Narrative: Patrols reported conducting a traffic stop in the area of South Riverside Avenue. Upon investigation, the operator, a 48-year-old resident of Croton, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation as well as other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

Narrative: A civilian came into headquarters requesting assistance in a dispute with her boss. The civilian only speaks Spanish and her boss only speaks English. Patrol responded with the civilian to her boss’s location and a Spanish-speaking officer was able to mediate the dispute.

Narrative: A caller reported there is a naked male inside Sunset Park. Patrols responded to the area and arrested a 20-year-old resident of Croton for Exposure.

Narrative: A resident of Beekman Avenue called to report that her vehicle was struck earlier that morning and the other vehicle left the scene.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of Route 9 to assist the HELP truck with traffic while he changed a tire on the roadway.

Narrative: A caller, a resident of Hastings Avenue, reported that a note was left on his vehicle parked on the street which said the caller’s vehicle was parked improperly and was impeding emergency traffic on the roadway. Patrol responded to the area and report that the vehicle was parked legally and emergency traffic can pass through.

Narrative: Peekskill PD requested nearby jurisdictions be on the look out for a missing 17-year-old male. Patrols checked the area of the Village and did not locate the male. Patrols will continue to be on the lookout.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of the Half Moon Bay complex for an activated burglary alarm at a residence. Patrols report the alarm was set off in error.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of Albany Post Road for a report of an open fire hydrant. Patrol report fire hydrant is indeed open, and patrol confirmed with the Croton Water Department that it was open for testing purposes.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the medical offices in the area of South Riverside Avenue and Grand Street on a report of a male walking around the building who appears disoriented. Patrols checked the area and could not locate the individual.

Narrative: Patrol was flagged down by a passerby who reported a person panhandling in the area of the Van Wyck Shopping Center. Patrol responded to the location but could not locate the individual.

Narrative: Patrol officer reported observing an individual he knows to have a permit only get into the driver’s seat of a vehicle while he was alone. The officer approached the vehicle and told the individual that he cannot be driving and should not attempt to drive unless he is with a licensed driver per NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law. The individual then shouted vulgarities and expletives at the officer for several minutes and got out of the vehicle and continued to shout at the officer. The officer warned the individual again about driving alone with a permit only and left the scene. A short while later while the officer was on routine patrol he observed the individual driving his vehicle, accompanied by his mother, in the opposite direction from him. The individual then turned around in the roadway and followed the officer. The officer then turned around and proceeded in the opposite direction. The individual then shouted expletives out of the vehicle towards the officer as well as obscene gestures as the vehicles passed by each other in opposite directions. The individual then made a u-turn and proceeded to continue to follow the officer again. The officer then stopped at a red light and the individual drove alongside the officer’s vehicle, stopped and continued to shout vulgarities out the window towards the officer. The individual then proceeded ahead and the officer at this point stopped the vehicle as the individual committed a violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. While he was pulled over, the individual, whose mother was still in the vehicle, continuously made obscene gestures and cursed and shouted vulgarities towards the officer. The officer issued the individual a summons for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation and sent him on his way.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the area of Mount Airy Road for a fluid spill. Croton Fire Department also responded as well as the Department of Public Works. Croton Fire Department and the Department of Public Works handled the cleanup.

Narrative: Patrol reported conducting a traffic stop in the area of the Van Wyck Shopping Center as a result of a License Plate Reader hit for a stolen license plate. It was determined that the owner of the vehicle was the driver and she was advised to go to the DMV to have new plates issued.

Narrative: Caller, a resident of the Village, reported receiving a call from someone who told her that her grandson was in jail and that he needed money to be bailed out. She then asked her friend for the bail money and she also called the police. At that time she was advised by the police that this is a common scam call. The resident then called her grandson who was indeed not under arrest.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of the Van Wyck Shopping Center on a report of a male panhandling in the area. Patrols checked the area and located the male at the Mobil Station. Male was advised that he could not be soliciting in the area and the male left.

Narrative: Ossining Police Department requested patrols look for a vehicle that just left the scene of an accident that occurred on Route 9A near Stormytown Road. Patrols checked and were unable to locate the vehicle.

Narrative: Caller reporting that someone just posted on a local Facebook page that he heard gunshots in the area of Hudson National Golf Course and, as a result, his dog got scared and ran off. Patrols responded to the area and were unable to locate the source of any possible gunshot sound and were also unable to locate the animal.

Narrative: While in the area of South Riverside Avenue, patrol observed a female who was attempting to fix her bicycle that had broken. Patrol stopped and was able to assist the female and bring the bicycle to working order where she could ride back to her residence in Ossining.
