Narrative: Caller who lives in Chicago states while he was on a video game chat and a local male adult resident reportedly entered the chat room and made threats to kill himself. Caller further stated that he spoke to the man threatening to harm himself on the phone and the man stated that he was sorry but he was going to kill himself by taking drugs and drinking.  Further investigation reveals the caller received this call between 9-10 pm on 02/13/202. Croton patrols dispatched and report no answer at the door.  A telephone for the parent of the subject involved was obtained and patrols spoke with him. Parent stated his son no longer resides in Croton.  Father stated that his son lives in Harrison and that the Harrison police department saved his son.  Harrison Police contacted and they report receiving a call from the suicidal subject’s girlfriend and patrols went to his residence in Harrison where they found him on the floor unresponsive, they then administered Narcan and revived the subject.  He was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment

Narrative: Owner of business reports damage to a classic car parked in his lot, states it looks like someone may have shot at the vehicle with a bb gun.  He states the vehicle has been parked in front of the business for over a month but he has no idea when the damage occurred.  Patrol dispatched and confirmed damage to the windshield of the 1966 blue Pontiac.

Narrative:  60 Control dispatched Croton ambulance to the above address for a female with an unknown medical condition.  Patrol dispatched with Croton ambulance.  Patrol located the aided resident in rear apartment.  Aided transported to local area hospital.

Narrative: Resident reports receiving a phone call from a male alleging to be her grandson saying he had been in a car accident, he is in jail and had been assigned a case number and an attorney.  Resident states she does not have a grandson, nor did she cooperate with caller or give any personal information out.

Narrative: A good samaritin turned in a personal check in the amount of $35.  Check was found in the parking lot outside.  Owner of check notified and it was picked up by designee.

Narrative: Village clerk requests tow for a 2008 white Volkswagen for parking scofflaw. Patrol dispatched to location and learned the vehicle also has expired registration and inspection.  Tow company contacted and responded.  While vehicle was being towed, the owner's wife came outside and was advised by patrol that vehicle was being towed for parking scofflaw.  Court clerk notified.

Narrative: Caller reports minor damage to the stucco exterior of her home that she believes may have been caused by someone swinging a tree branch sometime on Saturday, 2/12/22.  Resident has no security cameras but wanted incident on record.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched Croton ambulance to residence for an activated medical alarm.  Croton patrol dispatched and reports no one home, no answer on home phone or cell phone.  Emergency contact notified who has not heard from her either.   All units back in service.

Narrative: School nurse requests Croton EMS / ambulance for a female student who is acting disoriented.  60 Control dispatched ambulance and patrols responded to school.   Parents of aided student also responded.  Aided transported to local area hospital.

Narrative: Employee of BP gas station reports a homeless man appears to be very cold and might need help.  Croton patrols dispatched and located the man. Patrols offered transport to shelter in Peekskill.  The male refused assistance.

Narrative: Caller’s sister was almost scammed out of $1,000. Party was told to pull out the money and give it to them because they have their daughter.  His sister is driving a blue Nissan and might be at the Croton Diner. Patrol checked for the vehicle unfounded. Original caller spoke with patrols who explained to them is was a scam. No money was exchanged.

Narrative: Department of Public Works reports a 2006 blue Toyota Rav 4 parked on the street in the way of tree work taking place at building.  Attempts to reach owner of vehicle via phone with negative results on both home and cell phone numbers.  Croton patrol dispatched and reports no answer at the door.  Department of Public Works will follow up with the tree removal company and return at a later time.

Narrative: Caller reports disabled gray sedan blocking traffic on Route 9 north with an elderly female inside vehicle. Patrol dispatched and located a 2007 white Mercedes.   The HELP truck already on scene.  Vehicle moved to shoulder, help truck assisted operator in changing flat tire.

Narrative:  Department of Public Works reports four ballard lights along the walkway between the Croton Yacht Club and Croton landing have been damaged.  Patrols dispatched to location.  Blotter only of incident, department of public works to replace light fixtures.

Narrative: Village Clerk requests duty tow for a 2018 white Ford for parking scofflaw (6 unpaid tickets – owing $300 parked in space # 448 of daily lot at train station). Patrol dispatched and confirmed the vehicle is parked in space # 448.  Tow company contacted and responded.  Court clerk and vehicle owner notified of impound.

Narrative: Patrol reports strong odor of gas in area of Albany post road and Arrowcrest Drive.  60 Control notified.  Croton Fire apparatus and Con Edison responded.  Utility and fire personnel handling.

Narrative: Patrol reports stopping a 2013 white Hyundai with an expired vehicle inspection.  eJustice computer check shows vehicle registration suspended for parking violations.  Patrol requests impound for vehicle. Tow company contacted and responded.   The operator, 31 years of age residing in Yonkers, NY, was processed on scene, patrol provided courtesy transport to tow company.  Operator was issued uniform traffic tickets for Vehicle & Traffic laws 306-b / Uninspected motor vehicle and section 512 / Operating with a suspended or revoked registration.

Narrative: Alarm company reports an activated commercial burglary alarm at location.  Patrol dispatched.  Patrol checked location and report ground level secure with no signs of entry.

Narrative: Resident states she was just run off the sidewalk by what appeared to be a quad like vehicle at location.  Caller states she is not injured but it is a nuisance that she can't walk her dog on the sidewalk.  Patrol dispatched and canvassed area with negative results.

Narrative: Resident reports there is water coming into his foundation from outside of his residence.  Resident states he called a plumber and his plumber told him the water is coming from the main feed from the street.  Patrol dispatched, Croton Water Department notified of issue and will take care of same.

Patrol witnessed youth walk to school.

Narrative: Staff at business reports a drunk/disorderly male at location.  Caller states he refused service to the male and asked him to leave.  Caller states the male is now outside of the business and appears very drunk.  Caller describes him as a white male wearing a blue coat.  Patrols dispatched and located the male and gave him a courtesy transport to the train station.

Narrative: Hotline message reporting a stolen vehicle out of Peekskill fled on Route 9 southbound approximately five minutes in the past.  Vehicle is a black Mercedes Benz with New York plates.  Ossining Police reporting they have vehicle stopped on Route 9A and Rt 134.

Narrative: Caller states she saw a homeless man under the overpass of CPA and was concerned because she saw his defecating the other day.  Patrol on scene report it's the same homeless man (who refuses to give his pedigree information) from all the previous blotters that doesn't want help. No signs of going to the bathroom. No further action taken.

Building appears secure.

Narrative: Resident in police headquarters complaining about her upstairs neighbor having guests over at night. I explained to her to speak to her home owners association. She then showed a very blurry picture from her ring doorbell of her neighbor leaning against the front of the building. She posted it on Facebook saying "look at my psycho neighbor with a handgun." Patrols looked at the picture and there is no proof of a handgun as it looks like a shadow.  No action required at this time.

Narrative: Ossining Police called in a rollover accident on 9 South near Croton Point Avenue. Patrol on scene requesting two tows. 60 Control notified and ambulance/Croton EMS responded. Seven parties from the accident transported to local hospital.  Patrol reports one of the injured parties has a dog with them and needs someone to respond for the dog. Patrols transported the dog to police headquarters. A friend of the family Brittany Thornton responded to police headquarters and took the dog.   Accident report filed.

Narrative: Resident states that her neighbor residing on Batten road has been harassing her and her daughter when they walk their dog on Batten road.  The resident states this morning, her neighbor followed her daughter while she was walking their dog and she would like a record of this.  She was advised to have her daughter contact the police in the event the neighbor follows her again.

Narrative:  Patrol reports stopping a Toyota Rav4 for traffic infractions. An e-Justice inquiry revealed the operator, 28 years of age of Peekskill NY was suspended. The operator was processed roadside and issued 3 uniform traffic summonses for violating sections; 375-2a1/ Inadequate headlights, 1180-b / Speeding and 511-01a / Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd.  Vehicle involved was impounded and towed from the highway.  Return date is 03/16/2022 at 9:00 AM in the village court. Operator was given a courtesy transport to the BP gas station in patrol car.
