Narrative: Croton EMS was dispatched to a commercial establishment on Albany Post Road for a Croton resident needing medical assistance. Party was transported to the hospital.

Call Type: Neighbor Dispute   
Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on Morningside Drive for a dispute between neighbors regarding where they are putting the snow and videotaping each other. The Croton residents were interviewed and advised; condition corrected.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the Croton River for a small group of youths playing on the ice in the river. Patrols located the group and advised them. Report taken and detectives to follow up.

Call Type: Fraudulent Activities 
Narrative: Patrol received a report from a Croton resident who reported someone filed unemployment benefits with their name using an old address. Caller cancelled the transaction with the Department of Labor and has had no financial loss at this time.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on Farrington Road for a dispute between parties regarding where they put the snow after they just plowed. The Croton resident & Ossining contractor were interviewed and advised; situation mediated.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the area of Cleveland Drive for a person on a quad pulling a sled in the roadway.  All parties involved were Croton residents and were advised.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on North Riverside Avenue for a disabled vehicle. Patrol and the operator freed the vehicle from the snow; condition corrected.

Call Type: Person With a Gun 
Narrative: Patrol was stopped by an unknown motorist who stated he saw a young male with a rifle walking down the street. Patrol began canvassing and a short foot pursuit ensued after observing a male walking away from a long gun that was leaning against a building. The male was interviewed and advised after it was discovered to be a BB Gun.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the Duck Pond Park for a person on the ice shoveling. The Croton resident was notified and advised of the posted red flags and rules against ice hockey.

Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on Stevenson Place for a group of youths playing in the snow. The caller was concerned that if the snow plow came back they might not see the kids. Patrols canvassed the area but did not locate the youths.

Call Type: Alarm - Commercial
Narrative: Patrol and Croton FD responded to an area of South Riverside Avenue for a commercial fire alarm. After investigation, it was determined the source was a vehicle running inside the building. Croton FD handled the scene.

Call Type: Fraudulent Activities   
Narrative: Patrol was notified by a Poughkeepsie resident, who works in Croton, that he was on an online dating account communicating with a party when the party requested to exchange numbers, which he agreed. He then began receiving text messages and indicated the other unknown person was attempting to get him to reveal his personal information. The texts also stated they would sell his social security number and post online that he had been involved with a minor in a sexual way. Caller has no financial loss and presently no crime has been committed; he wanted the incident on record.

Narrative: Patrols checked on a Croton resident who dialed 911 and hung up. Patrol reported the person had accidentally dialed.

Call Type: Parking Complaint 
Narrative: Patrol responded to the area of Radnor Avenue and Olcott Avenue after a Croton resident caller reported a parking violation making the roadway impassable. The area was canvassed and one vehicle was found parked in the area; negative results on any parking violations and the roadway was passable.

Narrative: Patrols responded to an area on Route 9 South for a report of a two-car motor vehicle accident. A report to be filed; no injuries.

Narrative: Patrols responded to an area on Wayne Street for a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Patrol responded and assisted the motorist in getting the vehicle free from the snow.

Call Type: Noise Complaint 
Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on Half Moon Bay Drive for a noise complaint; the noise sounded like an alarm. It was determined the sound was coming from the train yard.

Location: Riverview Trail
Call Type: Disabled Vehicle  
Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on Riverview Trail for a vehicle accident. After patrols arrived it was determined the vehicle was disabled. The vehicle was towed. Patrol awaited the tow to arrive and closed the roadway as the vehicle made the roadway impassable.

Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on Old Post Road South for a parking complaint regarding a vehicle parked on commercial property. Patrol contacted the Croton resident who moved the vehicle. No summons issued.

Narrative: Patrol received a call from a Croton resident who reported someone attempted to file unemployment benefits using their name. The transaction was cancelled and has had no financial loss at this time.

Call Type: Parking Complaint
Narrative: Patrols and parking enforcement responded to a location on Old Post Road South.  After multiple violations and a summons issued, the vehicle was towed. The owner, a Croton resident, was later notified.

Narrative: Patrol and Croton FD responded to a commercial location on South Riverside Avenue for a report of a fluid spill. Croton FD handled the scene with no reported injuries. Scene was closed for an extended period of time.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on Route 9 South for a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Patrol canvassed the area with negative results.

Narrative: Patrol responded to an area on North Riverside Avenue for a 911 hang up. The Croton resident had accidentally dialed.

Narrative: Patrols and Croton EMS responded to a location on Penfield Avenue for an unresponsive party. After EMS performed live-saving measures, it was determined that the long-time Croton resident had passed away.

Narrative: Patrols responded to a residence on Lexington Drive after receiving a call from a family member, who resides out of state, requesting a welfare check on one of his parents. An extensive canvass was conducted and the Croton resident was located and transported to the hospital by Croton EMS.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the CET School for a school lockdown drill. Drill was conducted without issue.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on Grand Street for a hazard condition of a wire down on the sidewalk.  Patrol coiled the wire up and the utility company was notified.

Narrative: Patrol took a 31-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident into custody at the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla on an active Bench Warrant from the Village of Croton Court on one charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operator. He was released on his own recognizance.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on Riverview Trail for a hazard condition of a low hanging wire. Utility company was notified.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the area of Truesdale Drive for a call of a parked vehicle obstructing traffic. Patrol responded, located the vehicle and the Mount Vernon owner moved the vehicle. No summons issued.

Narrative: Patrols responded to a motor vehicle accident on  Route 9 North.  Report to be filed, tow was notified by the vehicle owner, EMS responded and the parties refused medical treatment.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on Route 9 North for a disabled vehicle partially blocking the roadway. Patrol located the vehicle and the Peekskill resident had already notified a tow company. Patrol awaited the arrival of the tow company.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a location on Batten Road for a resident who reported that his neighbor had said something to a contractor who was working on his property. The contractor was working alone on the property. Contractor was advised of the mask rules.

Narrative: Patrol and detectives took a 40-year-old resident of Goshen, New York, into custody at a commercial location in the City of Yonkers on an active Arrest Warrant from the Village of Croton Court on one charge of Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree. She was released on her own recognizance.
