Narrative: Resident reports two German Shepherds are loose in his yard.  Patrols responded to the area and located the two dogs.  Patrols identified owner of the dogs and determined no dog licenses were listed to the owner.  Owner informed the dogs are required to be registered with the village.  Later in the afternoon the same resident reports the two dogs returned to her property again and are at large.  Patrols responded and issued two summonses to dog owner for violating village ordinance section 108-6A (Dog-at-Large). Owner recovered her dogs from the neighbor’s property.

Narrative: 60 Control dispatched Croton Fire apparatus to the church for an inside odor of natural gas.    Con Edison Gas, Croton patrols and fire personnel on scene.  Patrols report the building was evacuated by fire personnel.  Odor possibly coming from the kitchen area, Con Edison and Fire personnel handling.

Narrative:  911 call received reporting a female customer collapsed in the register aisle.  Croton EMS, paramedic and Croton patrols.  Aided was transported by Croton EMS to the hospital.

Narrative: Patrols report stopping a gray Jeep for a VTL violation (license plate reader hit).  eJUSTICE portal shows the vehicle registration to be suspended and expired.  The owner/operator, age 27 of the Bronx NY had a suspended license. The operator was placed under arrest and processed roadside.  The vehicle was impounded and towed from the scene.   The defendant was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd/VTL 511-1A.  The defendant was given a village court return date of January 5th, 2022.

Narrative: Resident requesting Croton EMS for her mother who is having difficulty breathing.  Croton EMS and Croton patrols responded to the residence.  Patrols report the resident was transported to the hospital by Croton EMS.

Narrative: Resident of Maple Street reports smoke in his basement.  Resident relayed to 60 Control, Croton Fire Department apparatus and patrols responded to the residence.  Patrols reported smoke coming from boiler room, Croton Fire personnel vented home.  C.F.D. handling.

Narrative: Resident reports being scammed out of $1,000.00.  Patrols responded to conduct preliminary investigation.  Investigation continuing.

Narrative: Woman reports a man at the bank ATM became angry then yelled at her calling her names.  She indicates the man then purportedly rolled his vehicle into her.  Woman complaining of pain and patrols requested EMS to the scene.  Patorls report the man and vehicle left the scene prior to patrols arrival.  Patrols continuing investigation.  Accident report and case report to be filed.

Narrative: A resident reports that his son was walking home from school earlier and when he was in the area of Veterans Corners, a man in a gray car slowed down and was taking pictures and possibly a video of him. No further description on the vehicle or the operator. Patrols checked the area with negative results.

Narrative: Female resident reporting her ex-husband whom she has an order of protection against is texting her again. Patrol on scene read her text messages and it is them both having a conversation with each other. Patrol determined no current violation of the order took place.  Patrol advised her not to respond to his text messages.  Patrol to file a domestic incident report.  Patrol reports he was not on scene or at his residence.

Narrative: Croton patrols report stopping a white Ford for a traffic violation.   eJUSTICE portal shows the vehicle registration to be valid but the operator to possess a suspended license. Defendant charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd. VTL 511-1a.  Operator was processed roadside and patrols issued summonses to the driver, a 21 year old residing in New Rochelle NY.   The vehicle was turned over to a family friend.

Narrative: Westchester County Police Department on the hotline reporting a mutual aid drill for a situation that exists in Mount Pleasant with a large unruly crowd that requires a rapid response from assigned agencies.  Staging area is reported to be in the Westchester County Police Department rear parking lot. One Croton patrol unit responded to location.

Narrative: Female resident reports a man in a hoody and blue jeans is lifting a man hole cover on Benedict Blvd.  Patrol units responded and report are clear.

Narrative: Resident on 911 reporting her husband may have had a stroke.  ^0 Control notified and dispatched Croton EMS and paramedics.  Croton patrols responded to the residence to assist.  Patrols report resident/aided transported to local hospital.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the store after receiving a call from store staff reporting one shoplifter is in custody.  Patrols responded and report the shoplifter, a forty-seven-year-old resident, of Yonkers, NY was placed under arrest.  Defendant being charged with violating NYS Penal law 155.25 / Petit larceny.  Defendant processed at Croton Police H.Q.’s and was released on his own recognizance with a village court date of December 15, 2021.

Narrative: Resident reports his vehicles hood was spray painted black sometime while he was shopping at Shoprite tonight. He is now home in Croton.  Patrol responded to residence and report the spray paint was not from today and looks like it happened a while ago. Caller does not know where it might have happened. He also reported two of his tires were flattened a month ago and thinks this might be related. Blotter only at this time.

Narrative: Caller reporting a woman walking on 9 South near Montrose. Patrol located female party on highway. Patrol reports female stated she was in an altercation at Yuka's bar in Cortlandt with her fiancé and brother and walked out. She then started walking on the highway. NYSP notified and responding to the bar. Patrol transporting female party back to the bar.

Narrative: Westchester County Police called reporting a third party report of a tree down blocking the traffic lane.  Croton patrols responded and check the highway and determined the tree was actually in Ossining.  Ossining Police contacted and advised of tree being down.  Ossining Police handling.

Narrative: Patrols responded to an area on Harrison St for multiple reports of gun shots fired.  The area was canvassed extensively.  It was confirmed gun shots were fired and the area was closed off.  Several parties were interviewed.  There were no reported injuries.  There was evidence collected.  A report was completed with no arrest(s) made.  The investigation is still ongoing.

Narrative: Resident reports a local autobody shop reporting a family member brought in their vehicle to be repaired. The vehicle appears to have recently been involved in an accident. Employee of auto shop could not obtain many details from the man as to when and where the accident occurred.  Patrols responded to the autobody shop and conducted an investigation.  Patrols located various vehicle parts on Half Moon Bay Drive.  Patrols to file an accident report. Croton EMS responded to location and assessed the man involved.  The aided refused further medical assistance.

Narrative:  Resident reports almost being scammed out of $8,500 earlier today.  Resident reports, he received a phone call from a male identifying himself as his son. Claiming to have been involved in a motor vehicle accident and was under arrest.   Several minutes later the resident reports receiving another call from an unknown male claiming to be a public defender indicating $8,500 needs to be posted for the resident’s son.  Resident realizing the call was suspicious and did not comply with the callers instructions.

Narrative:  Unknown 911 caller reports local resident is in front of his home and appears lost.  Caller reports the local man appears unable to answer basic questions and possibly suffered a stroke.  Ossining Volunteer Ambulance responded to the location.  OVAC transported resident to local hospital.

Narrative: Caller reports a vehicle struck a tree. Patrol on scene requested a tow for one vehicle. Patrol reports conducting SFST.  Patrols placed a male, 42 year old Croton resident under arrest.  Patrols continued investigation and charged the operator with violating VTL 1192-3 (DWI), 1192-2AA (Aggravated DWI) and 1192-2AB (Agg DWI w Child).  Defendant was issued UTT's for listed charges, as well as VTL 1128-a (fail to maintain lane) and 509-1 (unlicensed operator).  Judge Watkins and legal aid attorney notified for arraignment.  On call local Assistant District Attorney notified and recommended ROR with a full stay away order of protection issued against defendant.  The defendant was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Village of Croton court on 12/22/21.

Narrative: Resident Caller reports his friend had posted some suicidal thoughts on social media. Patrol responded and interviewed the parents of teen involved. The parents were aware of the situation and were bringing their child to a local facility to be evaluated.

Narrative: Motorist reports she hit a deer on 9S in Croton. Patrol checked highway and reports the accident took place in Montrose.  NYSP notified and responded. Patrol reports another vehicle on N Riverside flagged him down and hit the same deer. Patrol assisted her with her flat tire and directed her to respond to 9S Montrose to meet NYSP to be added to the accident report. NYSP handling accident report.

Narrative:  Resident reporting when he got home today his daughter had told him that approximately 1:00 pm, today a male had knocked on their door soliciting for home improvements.  The male had asked if her parents were home, which they were not and left.  The male went to the next door neighbor’s house and knocked on their door.  The caller said his daughter described the male as white, wearing a white jacket with a logo on it and might have said the word "power" as the company name.

Narrative: Cell phone caller reports homeless man sleeping on the bench just underneath the Rt. 9 overpass.  Patrol responded and interviewed the male who states he last lived in Pennsylvania but is now homeless.  Patrol offered to provide courtesy transport to shelter in Peekskill and male declined.  He went on his way.

Narrative: NYSP reports receiving a phone call from a driver on the highway reporting a female next to a dark colored sedan appears ill. Patrols checked the highway and report the vehicle and woman was gone upon arrival.

Narrative:  Resident reports a white male sitting on the bench by basketball courts and appears to have his pants are not pulled up and may be drinking alcohol.  Patrols responded and spoke with local resident involved.  No violations observed by patrols, the male involved left the area on his own.

Narrative: Caller making report on behalf of her friend who lives in Croton area.  Caller alleges that her girlfriends receiving annoying and harassing texts and phone calls from her ex-husband.  Caller was advised to have her girlfriend report matter to the police regarding same and to follow up with family court.

Narrative:  Civilian party in CPD HQ reporting his cell phone was stolen from the inside of his vehicle by an unknown person(s).  The reporting party stated he parked his vehicle which was unlocked at approximately 11:00 AM on today's date in the rear parking lot of the Grand Street Firehouse on Grand St.  The cell phone was left on the passenger seat and went inside.  He returned to the vehicle and drove off.  The owner realized his phone was later in the day after he had left the location.  The cell phone was an Apple iPhone 12 black in color with a case.

Narrative: Caller reports a possible dead dog on the shoulder of the roadway near the entrance to Half Moon Bay.  She stated that it could also be a box or plastic bag.  Patrol dispatched.  Patrol reports finding a box that could resemble an animal.  There was no deceased animal located.

Narrative: Patrol reports stopping a 2018 gray Jeep for vehicle & traffic law violation.  eJustice portal shows vehicle registration is valid. The operator, a 19 year old male resident of Croton, holds a suspended NYS driver’s license.  The operator was processed roadside. The vehicle was released to the registered owner at the scene.  The defendant was issued two uniform traffic tickets for VTL 511-1a / Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd and 1180-D / Speeding. The defendant has a return court date on 1/12/22 in village court.

Narrative:  Caller reports two car motor vehicle accident on Route 9N past Croton Point Ave Exit. Patrol Dispatched and reports a 2018 Subaru and a 2007 Oshkosh Motor Truck Cement Mixer involved.  Croton EMS requested for an airbag deployment.  Tow truck notified for that vehicle as well. Patrol to File report and truck/bus supplement.

Narrative: Female resident in police headquarters with an order of protection that needs to be served on her husband.  Patrols unable to serve OP as husband was not at the residence. Desk sergeant contacted the respondent and advised him that we have court paperwork for him.  He said he was unavailable at this time to come and retrieve the paperwork. While patrols were leaving respondent’s residence, patrols observed a vehicle matching the description of one that respondent drives. Patrols stopped the vehicle and the respondent was the operator.  Patrols served the order of protection to the respondent. He was told that he is no longer permitted at the residence and that he needs to stay away from the residence.

Narrative: WCPD via the hot line reporting they are looking for a 2005 GMC Yukon with a temporary Texas plate for an assault and larceny that happened 20 minutes in the past at the Mobil gas station on Route 202.  The vehicle reportedly occupied by five M/B was last seen on the Bear Mountain Pkwy.

Narrative: Female resident called to report that she has pinged her husband's phone and it is showing that it is in the area of her residence. Patrols just served an order of protection upon caller’s husband instructing him to stay away from the residence. Patrols responded and report locating the respondent leaning on the front door of the residence. He was taken into custody. He was transported back to police headquarters in patrol car 32. At police headquarters he was fingerprinted and photographed. 
 
Defendant was not responding to any of my questions and showing signs of an altered mental status. 60 Control contacted and dispatched Croton EMS to have him evaluated. CEMS at H.Q.’s stated they want to transport him to PHELPS to have him checked out further. Judge Green and his defendant’s legal counsel in HQ when defendant was being treated. They both agreed he should wait to be arraigned until after going to the hospital.  Defendant was transported to local hospital in ambulance 55B2 along with Croton patrols.  Defendant has an active full stay away issued on 12/17/2021 from family court for his wife and children.  Defendant held at hospital for  long term observation until he is able to answer questions.  Patrols issued him an appearance ticket for Wednesday 12/22/2021 at 0900hrs. His attorney was made aware of the court date as well.

Narrative: Caller reports walking past a Mountain Trail residence and noticing an odor of gas coming from the house. 60 Control notified and Croton Fire apparatus dispatched. CFD able to gain access to residence from an open window without forcing access and locate the leak.  CFD reports leak coming from an outside line by driveway of residence.  CFD made notification to CON ED on scene.

Patrols served resident with subpoena at C.P.D. H.Q.’s. Affidavit of service faxed and mailed to the Family Court.

Narrative: Caller reports having a dispute with his wife regarding arrangements or custody for their child. Patrols dispatched and upon arrival requested EMS for a party with minor abrasions. 60 Control contacted and dispatched CEMS. Patrol reports that an argument ensued between two parties.  One involved person left the scene and did not want to come back to speak with patrol. Domestic Incident Report completed by patrols on scene. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.
