Narrative: Caller reporting his niece was involved in an accident on Route 9 on the Croton River Bridge. Caller says there are no injuries and that his niece may have hit an object in the roadway. Patrols dispatched. Rescue Auto contacted and responded. Patrol also reported vehicle did not strike anything and is just disabled.

Narrative: An anonymous caller reports the dogs inside of the park are barking to excess. Patrols responded to location and checked the park. Patrols reported only two small dogs present and owners were leaving the park upon arrival with the dogs.

Narrative: Patrol responded to Veterans Plaza for a report of an older male party acting erratic. Croton EMS also dispatched. Upon arrival, patrol reportedno issues and subject was on a southbound train.

Narrative: Patrols responded to Benedict Blvd for a report of a truck which had pulled down wires. Upon arrival, patrol reported moving the wires to the side of the road. Verizon repair notified and will address the wires.

Narrative: Caller stated he found a purse in an empty shopping cart outside ShopRite. Patrols dispatched. While at the scene, owner of the purse arrived and property was returned.

Call Type: Dog Bite
Narrative: Caller reported that on August 3rd, at around noon, he was bitten by a dog on his right forearm while at Mayo's Landing. Bite did break the skin. Caller described the dog as a female terrier mix, black and white, and young in age. Caller said the female walking the dog had a British accent and said the dog had all of its vaccinations. Dog bite form completed and faxed to the Health Department. Caller advised to follow up with his physician. Patrols will attempt to locate the owner of the animal.

Narrative: Parking enforcement reported a vehicle idling in the handicapped section of the Croton-Harmon Train Station parking lot. Patrols dispatched and reported the vehicle was idling, but the doors are locked. Patrols were able to gain entry and turn the vehicle off. Patrols reported vehicle was not able to be locked again.

Call Type: Aggravated Harassment Arrest
Narrative: Patrols responded to the Phelps Medical Office for a report of a subject making a threat towards the office. Upon arrival, patrol obtained information that the subject was an Ossining resident and had made a threat to shoot up the office. Patrols responded to his residence in Ossining and placed him under arrest for Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree. Subject was processed and Judge Watkins arraigned defendant, released him on his own recognizance, and issued an order of protection. The defendant is due back in court on August 14th at 0900 hours.

Narrative: Patrols responded to Maple Street to assist a party gain entry into a vehicle. Patrol requested Croton EMS for the use of the stair chair. Patrol along with CEMS assisted subject into the vehicle.

Narrative: Caller reported receiving a call that she won $1,000 and advised her to send $150.00 in order to collect her winnings. Caller further advised that it was a scam and how to avoid being the victim of a telemarketing scam.

Narrative:   Caller reported losing power. The caller states she is OK, but does not have the phone number for Con Edison. Report made with Con Edison and caller advised that report was made. Patrol reported a short while later that the caller has power and Con Edison was working in the area.
