Village Hires New Police Officer

The Village would like to welcome our newest police officer, Nicholas DiTomasso. Officer DiTomasso, whose first day is today, will be attending the Westchester County Police Academy, where he will receive extensive training in all aspects of law enforcement. DiTomasso comes to Croton from the private sector, but in his high school days, he already had a strong desire to become a future Police Officer and attended the Westchester County Youth Cadet Police Academy.

Officer DiTomasso will be filling a newly created position within the Croton Police Department - that of Police Officer (Spanish Speaking). Chief of Police Russel Harper believes that having a Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Officer in the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department will be a tremendous asset to the Village. Welcome, Nicholas!
