Police Officer Appointed by Village Board

The Village would like to welcome our newest police officer, Edwin Jandres. Officer Jandres was approved by the Village Board on January 6, 2020, and began work on January 13, 2020. Officer Jandres has previous experience as a Police Officer, having graduated from the Orange County Police Academy and worked for the City of Newburgh Police Department.

Police Chief Russel H. Harper believes that Edwin will be a great asset to the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department. In addition to his previous training, Officer Jandres brings to the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department the added ability of being bilingual.

Chief Harper believes that having a second bilingual officer in the department will be a tremendous asset to the Village and its residents. Please welcome Officer Jandres to the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department, and the Village as a whole, when you see him on the beat.
