Police Officer Appointed by Village Board

The Village would like to welcome our newest police officer, John M. Broughal. Officer Broughal has previous experience as a Police Officer having graduated from the Westchester County Police Academy and serving for over two years as a Police Officer for the State University of New York at Purchase Police Department.

Police Chief Russel H. Harper believes that John will be a great asset to the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department and joins the department already having received much of the necessary training and background and thus will be able to assist in patrolling the Village very quickly.

Chief Harper states that, in addition to his previous training and experience as a Police Officer, Officer Broughal also has the added benefit of already knowing our Village, having previously lived in Croton and being an alumnus of Croton-Harmon High School.
