Arrest Made in Recent Home Burglaries

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Last evening, officers of the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department made an arrest in relation to two home burglaries which have taken place in the Village in recent weeks. These burglaries took place on Wells Avenue and Piney Point Avenue.
 
The suspect, a 36-year-old male from the Bronx, was charged two counts each of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, one count of Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, and one count of Petit Larceny.
 
The Croton-on-Hudson Police Department was assisted in the investigation and search last evening by the Peekskill Police Department K9 Unit, New York State Police, Westchester County Police Department, MTA Police Department and Westchester County Police Aviation Unit.
