Update on Croton Point Avenue Project
The Village’s contractor has been making steady progress on the Croton Point Avenue Traffic, Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement Project. Work began on March 30th and has continued uninterrupted except for severe weather.
The contractor began work at the intersection of South Riverside and Croton Point Avenues and has been pouring the concrete sidewalk and curb on the southern side of Croton Point Avenue that will eventually connect with Veterans Plaza.
Due to the light traffic conditions currently being experienced at the train station, the contractor has been able to work longer hours each day.
