Croton-on-Hudson Prepares for Stormy Weather

Storm Update

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is monitoring the storm currently impacting our region. We are expecting 2 to 3 inches of rain by tomorrow morning. The Village is also under a Wind Advisory until 6 PM Thursday. Winds are expected to be sustained in the 20-30 MPH range with gusts expected to reach 50 MPH. Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

All residents are encouraged to prepare to be without power. For tips on how to do so, please click here. Should a power outage occur, please notify Con Edison through their website, via their mobile apps for iOS or Android devices or by calling 1-800-75-CONED. The outage map from Con Edison can be viewed online here.

All residents are strongly encouraged to follow the Village's social media accounts on FacebookTwitter and Instagram where updates will be posted, as well as through the village E-Alert system. Additionally, any emergency notifications will be sent via the Code Red system.
