Update on This Weekend's Events at the Croton River

The Croton-on-Hudson Police Department responded to a number of incidents this weekend regarding the excessive use of Mayo's Landing and the Croton River. The Village has also received a number of calls and emails over the weekend and today. We take these concerns very seriously and will continue to enforce existing regulations with the use of park rangers and police officers.  The Police Department has been instructed to increase patrols in the area and will be assigning a park ranger exclusively to the area on this upcoming weekend.

The garbage left behind from this weekend has been removed by DPW staff and they will be checking the area periodically. The Village would like all residents to know that we are actively working to determine the best course of action to permanently alleviate the problems caused for homeowners along Truesdale and Nordica Drives.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to enjoy the Croton River this summer.
