Update on the Croton-Harmon School District Strategic Plan

Dear Croton-Harmon Community:
There are moments in life when the time feels right for us to reflect on where we’ve been and to look forward with excitement to what the future has in store. For many, that moment may come with the start of a new year, and for those who work in our schools, that moment comes with the development of a new strategic plan. In Croton-Harmon Schools, we recognize and embrace both the imperative and the opportunity that we have to develop and implement a strategic plan that keeps us at the forefront of educational systems across the country, and as we continue with our strategic planning process and share its work products with you, I am confident that you will find this strategic plan worthy of this moment for our students, our faculty and staff members, and our community.
I invite you to view my latest video which provides an overview of the vision associated with the strategic plan, and in doing so, to begin to imagine what school can be here in Croton-Harmon. As you imagine the possibilities for our schools, I encourage you to think less about small, incremental changes and to think more about system wide change and innovation and to dream about what our schools can be. This is a time for us to be both “dreamers and doers”, and I look forward to what comes next.
