Storm Update - 8:30 AM October 17

Storm Update
The Village has responded, or is currently responding, to a number of storm-related incidents. There are currently two road closures:
 
- Old Post Road North in both directions between Lounsbury Road and Brook Street due to a tree on wires.
- Cleveland Drive in both directions between Benedict Blvd. and Arlington Drive due to a downed tree.
 
There was also a transformer fire overnight which has created a power outage on Hamilton Avenue and Van Wyck Street. Con Edison is aware of the outage, but has not provided the Village with a time-frame of restoration. Additionally, there are power outages being reported in the area of Cleveland Drive and Arlington Drive due to the downed tree.
