Reminder: Signage Not Permitted in Village Rights-of-Way

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson would like to remind residents that the Village Code prohibits the posting, scattering, placing and tossing of notices and advertisements in the Village’s rights-of-way. This includes telephone and street light poles, as well as the grass strip between the sidewalk and the roadway.
Signage can be placed on your front lawn provided it complies with the Village’s Zoning Code. If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact the Engineering Department at 914-271-4783.
