Reminder: 25 MPH Speed Zones Go Into Effect August 27

After discussions held by the Board of Trustees and the Bicycle-Pedestrian Committee, the Village Manager has recently amended the Vehicle and Traffic Code of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson to introduce new 25 MPH speed limits to certain roads in Croton-on-Hudson. These roadways are as follow:
Cleveland Drive
Grand Street
Old Post Road N.
Old Post Road S.
From Gerstein St. to Benedict Blvd.
From Route 129 to S. Riverside Ave.
Old Post Road S.
From Grand St. to Cleveland Dr.

These new speed limits go into effect August 27, 2018. Public Works will be posting new speed limit signs on the above roadways during the month of August. Drivers are asked to observe the new speed limits on these roadways.
