Public Hearing Notices - Local Laws Introductory No. 2 and 4

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that resolutions have been adopted by the Board of Trustees, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, at a meeting on February 7th, 2024 to open PUBLIC HEARINGS on the following:

 

Public Hearing to consider Local Law Introductory No. 2 of 2024 to increase the real property tax exemption for qualifying Cold War veterans and to provide an exemption for Gold Star parents.

 

Public Hearing to consider Local Law Introductory No. 4 of 2024 to override the "property tax cap" law enacted by State Legislature.

 

THEREFORE, pursuant to statute, the Board of Trustees, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, will hold PUBLIC HEARINGS on the above on Wednesday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m., in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, 1 Van Wyck Street, Croton-on-Hudson, at which time all interested parties will be heard.

 

The meeting will also be broadcast live on www.crotononhudson-ny.gov and Cable Channel 78.
