Plastic Bag Use for Recyclable Materials

Recently, there has been an increase in the use of plastic bags as a container for commingled materials. We would like to remind our residents that Westchester County prohibits the use of plastic bags for curbside commingled recycling collection. Residents should place all recyclable materials loose in the Village-provided recycling bins. Recyclables placed in plastic bags will not be collected.
