National Voter Registration Day - September 20, 2022

National Voter Registration Day
National Voter Registration Day is today, September 20th. If you have recently turned 18 years old, or recently moved to Croton-on-Hudson, make sure you register to vote! Please click here to access the New York State Voter Registration Form. Voter registration forms are also available in the Village Clerk's office at the Municipal Building.

For more information on early voting, including the locations that it will take place, please click here.

If you would like to vote by mail, you must request an absentee ballot by October 24 and make sure that it is postmarked or returned in person by November 8. Due to a recent change in law, voters may no longer cast a ballot on a voting machine if they have already been issued an absentee ballot. Voters who have already been issued an absentee ballot will only be allowed to vote by affidavit ballot should they later decide to vote in person.

For additional voting information, visit Vote411, an interactive website created and maintained by the League of Women Voters. The site supplies personalized ballots and polling locations simply by entering your home address.

Poll workers are always needed
Westchester County is always in need of Election Inspectors willing to work at one of various polling sites on Election Day. Click here to learn more about how to become an Election Inspector.
