General Election Reminders

There will be a General Election held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Below are some important dates and reminders:

You can view a sample ballot for the Village of Croton-on-Hudson November 7th General Election here - copies are also available at the Clerk's Office. Don't Forget to Flip Your Ballot! Voters in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson will be presented with a ballot proposition related to an amendment to the Croton-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department’s Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP). More information regarding the proposed amendment and LOSAP can be accessed on the Village website. For additional voting information, visit Vote411, an interactive website created and maintained by the League of Women Voters. The site supplies personalized ballots and polling locations simply by entering your home address.

You can search for your Election Day polling location using the Find a Polling Place Tool on the Board of Elections website. 

The Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building Community Room, located at 1 Van Wyck Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520, is open this weekend to all Westchester County early voters during the designated days and hours listed below:

  • Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.. 

Tuesday, November 7th is the last day to postmark or hand-deliver your completed absentee ballot to the Board of Elections or at any polling location in the County. Please note that mailed absentee ballots must be received by Tuesday, November 14, 2023, to be counted. November 7, 2023 is also the last day to postmark Military/Special Federal/UOCAVA ballot for the General Election. The ballot must be received by the Board of Elections no later than November 20, 2023.
