Croton Summerfest 2019

The 33rd annual Summerfest will take place this Sunday, June 2, in the Upper Village. It begins with the Summerfest Parade at 12:45 p.m. There will be street vendors, food and entertainment including live music throughout the day until 6 p.m. Please plan on joining your neighbors at this special event in the Upper Village.

Street closures and traffic impacts are as follows:

The Croton Police Department will begin to restrict traffic flow to local traffic only in the Upper Village area starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday in order to allow the vendors to begin setting up. At 11 a.m., Grand Street will be closed to traffic between Van Wyck Street and Mount Airy Road. Old Post Road South will be closed to traffic between Grand Street and Maple Street. These streets will remain closed to traffic throughout the event and will reopen sometime after 6 p.m. once the vendors and the DPW have cleared the area.

Also, from 12 p.m. until approximately 1:15 p.m., Old Post Road South will be closed to traffic between Maple Street and Cleveland Drive. At 12:45 p.m., the Summerfest Parade will march from Cleveland Drive down Old Post Road South and through the Upper Village area. Once the parade is over, Old Post Road South will be opened up for traffic between Maple Street and Cleveland Drive.
