Croton-Harmon Train Station Commuters Be Advised: Potential Flooding Tuesday and Wednesday

Storm Update

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is monitoring the storm expected to impact our region on Tuesday, January 9th into Wednesday, January 10th. Currently, there is a Flood Watch in effect for our region from 6:00 PM Tuesday to 6:00 PM Wednesday.

For those using the Croton-Harmon Train Station, there is a good possibility that storm surge flooding will impact the train station parking lot. Permit holders should not park in Section I of the parking lot starting Tuesday night into Wednesday. The daily spaces in Section H immediately adjacent to Section I should also be avoided. Daily commuters should park in the northern areas (closest to Croton Point Avenue) of Section H. The Wednesday morning high tide cycle is expected to bring the worst conditions. Please review our train station parking lot map to see other sections which are available for use.

All residents are strongly encouraged to follow the Village's social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram where updates will be posted, as well as through the Village E-Alert system. Additionally, any emergency notifications will be sent via the Everbridge Emergency Alert system.
