African Women’s Education Fund Event
Saturday, September 18 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Grand Stand Outdoor Patio
Join the African Women’s Education Fund to help our local organization fund scholarships. There will be live acoustic music, a bar and a food truck. The fund is currently educating 104 African women attending secondary school in Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Flu & Covid-19 Shots

Croton Free Library
The Croton Free Library will be hosting a pop-up vaccine clinic in conjunction with Sav-Mor Pharmacy for anyone age 4+ (flu vaccine) or 12+ (Covid-19 vaccine).  Get your flu vaccine, Covid-19 vaccine, or both, at the Croton Free Library. No appointment required! The event will be outdoors, weather permitting. Please wear a mask and bring your insurance card. The shots are free with most major insurances.

Cub Scout Recruitment Event

Interested in learning more about Cub Scouts? Croton Cub Scout Pack 28 will be hosting its annual recruiting event. This is a chance to stop by to learn more about Scouting from current Scouting families. Some of the exciting opportunities scouting provides includes camping, hiking, pinewood derby races and more. Cub Scouting is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and girls (kindergarten through fifth grade) and their families. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, good citizenship, and physical fitness.

Croton-Harmon High School Homecoming Week
Croton-Harmon High School will be holding its homecoming week starting Monday, September 20th. Croton-Harmon Union Free School District Athletic Department is excited to announce Homecoming "Under the Lights."  Thanks to the Croton-Harmon Tigers Booster Club, lights have been rented to hold nightly sporting events during the week of September 20th.  Come out as a community and support the Tigers. Included here is a full list of the scheduled sports events:

Short Story Group

Croton Free Library Front Lawn
If you are interested in reading more often this fall, but do not have time to read an entire book, then join the Croton Free Libraries’ Short Story Group. The group will begin on Tuesday, September 21, and will run for 6 weeks. Individuals are free to join in at any time during these 6 weeks.
Each week, they will read and discuss a different short story by a contemporary writer.

Village-Wide Tag Sale

The Village of Croton­-on­-Hudson is pleased to announce that the 3rd annual village-­wide tag sale.
Now is the perfect opportunity to reorganize storage space and sell what you may not need; your trash could be another’s treasure!
Registration has begun, and ends Friday, September 17th. There is a $10 registration fee per household to participate. You must register online by clicking here.

Electric Vehicle Show
Saturday, September 25 | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Senasqua Park
Join the Croton Sustainability Committee for the Electric Vehicle show. Attendees will be able to see a wide array of electric vehicles, as well as chat with their owners. The show will be held in conjunction with National Drive Electric Week. Expect about 6 electric vehicles. This event is co-sponsored by Croton100, Mothers Out Front, Care for Creation Ministry and the Village Sustainability Committee.
 
Bird Walk

Join the Saw Mill River Audubon Society for their monthly bird walk at Croton Point Park. Attendees must register online and space is limited to 20 people. Vaccinations required of all attendees. 37th Annual Croton Rotary Auto Show and Parade
