Upcoming Events in the Village
Croton Clean Sweep 2022
Friday, September 16 – Sunday, September 18

Everyone has walked or driven by a spot in town and thought, “someone should clean that up.” Now’s the time for that person to be you! Croton Conservation Advisory Council’s C.L.E.A.N. CROTON subcommittee is hosting a community-wide cleanup event this September! Here's how it works:

  • PICK A PLACE in or around Croton-on-Hudson you want to clean up. The curbside in front of your house, the nasty area around your dumpster behind your business, the trail you love to walk...
  • EMAIL YOUR PLACE to cleancroton@johnealer.com. C.L.E.A.N. CROTON-ON-HUDSON will track everyone’s targets on a map to help coordinate efforts!
  • SPREAD THE WORD by passing the info to neighbors and local businesses. View the event page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1317747078663380/
  • CLEAN UP YOUR PLACE ANYTIME from Friday 9/16 – Sunday 9/18. You can spend as little or as much time as you want. 15 minutes in front of your house cleaning up the curbside – great! An hour cleaning up the waterfront at Senasqua – great!
  • EMAIL A PHOTO OF YOUR TRASH BAG WITH YOUR CLEANED UP SPOT IN THE BACKGROUND to cleancroton@johnealer.com so we can celebrate our achievements. Before and after pics are great, too, as are selfies!

C.L.E.A.N. CROTON-ON-HUDSON encourages you to reach out to your neighbors and local businesses to chip in, but obviously respect property-holders rights and don’t enter anyone’s private property without permission. Feel free to reach out with any questions to cleancroton@johnealer.com.
