Annual Village Winter Holiday Celebration

5:15 PM Refreshments & Singing at Vassallo Park - Menorah Presentation & Christmas Tree Lighting by 6:00 PM 
 
Join us for the annual Village Winter Holiday Celebration! Santa will lead the parade from the Municipal Building to Vassallo Park. Enjoy hot cocoa, winter treats, and festive music at the park. All are welcome to this fun and family-friendly event. 
 
Blood Drive at Croton-Harmon High School

Donors are urgently needed for a community Blood Drive at Croton-Harmon High School on Friday, December 2. Just one donation can save up to three lives. Sign up to donate at www.redcrossblood.org and use the sponsor code: CHHS. Donors who give blood at the drive will receive a $10 Gift Card by email. 
 
CET Kindness Club - Variety Show, Raffle, and Bake Sales in Honor of Debbie Liebert

This event is sponsored by the CET Kindness Club. All money raised will create a memory garden and to create a Debbie Liebert Memorial Honorarium for a CHUFSD graduating senior. Santa Claus Motorcycle Ride Through Croton

The Croton Police Department will be escorting a special visitor around the Village this Sunday! Santa Claus himself will take a special ride through town on his motorcycle, starting from the intersection of Benedict Boulevard and Young Avenue at 11:15 AM. See Santa's route by clicking here.

Croton Police Association Toy Drive

The Croton Police Association is hosting a Toy Drive to support Croton Caring's Adopt-a-Family program. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for a Croton child in need and have some hot chocolate, enjoy a tasty treat and meet Santa!

Support local artists and find great handcrafted items for the holidays! For the second year in a row, the Croton Free Library is excited to welcome back the Northeast Etsy Artists Collective — plus local guest artists — for an artisans' market in the Ottinger Room at the Croton Free Library. The market will take place during the Library's Winter Festival, and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Library. Bundle up for the second annual Winter Festival on the front lawn of the Croton Free Library! The library will be hosting animal experts from Teatown, presenting "Strategies for Survival: How Animals Prepare for Winter" at 11am and noon. There will be crafts for kids, a food drive, free snacks and drinks — plus hot chocolate for sale from Matters Coffee! Open to all ages! Come for some free winter fun with your community.
 
Croton Point Nature & History Hike

Croton Point Nature & History Hike Croton Point Park Naturalist John Phillips and Village of Croton Historian Marc Cheshire will lead a hike on Saturday, December 3, at 9 a.m. to explore Croton Point’s history, natural history, archaeology and geology. The hike will last roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. This event is free. Meet at the gate to the RV park, where parking is available. Ages 6 and up; wear sturdy shoes. The same hike will take place on December 10.
 
Meet Santa at the Town of Cortlandt Youth & Recreation Center
Saturday, December 3rd, 2 PM to 4 PM

Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be stopping by the Town of Cortlandt Youth Center on Saturday. Children of all ages can get their picture taken with Santa, write a letter to Santa, make holiday cards and chose an ornament craft to take home. As well as enjoy some holiday music, hot cocoa and cookies from Mrs. Claus' Kitchen.
 
St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church Christmas Wreath/Craft/Bake Sale

The Our Saviour Lutheran Church will host its annual Christmas Fair on December 3 from 10 am - 2 pm . Find treasures in our tag sale boutique, gifts at our handmade craft tables, and enjoy refreshments at the cafe and delicious baked goods. There's even a coloring contest for kids! Police Advisory Committee Town Hall

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson Police Advisory Committee, in conjunction with the Croton Police Department, will host a town hall for the community on Tuesday, December 6th at 7 PM. Questions and input from residents will be welcomed at the end of the meeting. The meeting will be held in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Municipal Building. Residents are invited to attend in person, or view the town hall meeting on cable channel 78, as well as on the Village’s online live stream. More information is available here
 
From Generation to Generation: The Call to Pursue Justice and Morality: A Conversation with Human Right Activist Elisha Wiesel

Elisha Wiesel, human rights activist and son of Elie Wiesel, will visit the Temple and lead a conversation about human rights issues. When his father passed, Elisha realized how many others missed his voice––and so, when opportunities for impact arise, Elisha shares his father’s message and continues his legacy by standing up for persecuted communities. Croton Fire Department Holiday Parade
Saturday, December 10th, 6:00 PM

The Croton Fire Department will be leading a “Holiday Parade” on Saturday, December 10th starting at 6pm. It will begin on Benedict Blvd., roll through Harmon, the Upper Village, the North End and back down South Riverside Avenue. Grab a hot cocoa and come outside to usher in the holiday season with the Croton Volunteer Fire Department. 

Free Rabies Vaccines for Westchester Pets
Saturday, December 10th, 10 AM to 3 PM
Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, 100 Warehouse Lane, Elmsford
 

Westchester County residents can bring their dogs, cats and ferrets in for free rabies vaccinations on Saturday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, 100 Warehouse Lane South in Elmsford.  Appointments are required. Call 914-372-7878 for more information.

Town of Cortlandt Winter Wonderland
Saturday, December 10th (Rain/Snow date: Sunday, December 11th), 3 to 6 PM

COVID-19 Pop-up Booster Clinic
Wednesday, December 14th, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Community Room, Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building
 
COVID-19 vaccine booster shots will be available at a pop-up clinic in the Community Room at the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building at 1 Van Wyck Street, Croton-on-Hudson, on Wednesday, December 14th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The bivalent Pfizer Bivalent Booster (12 and older) and the bivalent Moderna Bivalent Booster (18 and older) will be available. Registration is required.
