Summer Concert Series - Basecamp
The Village's Summer Concert Series continues with Basecamp - R&B and soul-filled classics. Bring a blanket and some folding chairs and enjoy the tunes and Hudson River sunset.
Historical Society Hike
Village of Croton Historian Marc Cheshire will lead a hike on Saturday, July 8, at 9 a.m.to explore Croton Point’s rich history. The hike will last roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. This event is free. Meet at the gate to the RV park, where parking is available. Ages 6 and up; wear sturdy shoes. The same hike will take place (at the same time and meeting location) on July 29 and August 5.
Summer Movies at the Library
Stay cool with family-friendly summer movies at the Croton Free Library. There will be six weeks of matinees. All showings are free. The first movie on July 10 will be Coco. Free and open to all! BYO snacks.
Sunset Yoga
Try Sunset Yoga at the Croton Free Library. This summer, certified yoga instructor Lindsay Fletcher will focus on slow-paced movement and poses. Bring your own yoga mat or make use of one from the library. Free and no registration required. This series will run for six Monday nights in July and August. Attend the full series or drop into any class.
Family Entertainment Event: Fiesta with Flor
Kids and families will join in the fun as they learn about different musical genres through dance, storytelling and songs, traveling with Flor to the countries where the rhythms were born. This is not your typical children’s concert, it’s a whole family fiesta
Senasqua Park Movie Night: Family Camp (Rated PG)
Outdoor movies are shown in Senasqua Park beginning at dusk on Wednesdays. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic, enjoy the sunset and stay for the movies. In case of rain, movies are shown on the next evening.
125th Anniversary Boat Flotilla
The Croton community is invited to float down the Croton River at this year’s 125th Anniversary Boat Flotilla, a floating parade hosted by the Croton 125th Anniversary Committee. The flotilla has a 50-person cap for safety purposes. Each boater must register individually. Registration is $10 per person, and includes lunch. Click here to learn more and register.
Family Entertainment Event: Zach Alexander Magic Show
Zach Alexander's family show is especially designed to delight all the kids, but leave the grown amazed at the magic too! His goal is to get everyone up and interacting to encourage the creation of memories that will last a lifetime.
