Croton Caring has various upcoming volunteer opportunities to assist with their Neighbors in Need 2022 Summer Food Basket and Boredom Busters program. Volunteers will help with assembling food baskets and games and crafts for neighbors in need. Click here to learn more.
 
Sunset Yoga at the Library

Animal Arts & Crafts at the Library

Bring on the creativity and summer fun! In this new art program, kids can make animal crafts of all kinds, from handprints to puppets, and read stories about animals. These activities will open and foster the natural artist within each child and nurture their talent through fun, playful, and engaging sensory activities. Perfect for kids age 2-7. No registration required. Free and open to all.
 
Concert at the Library: BBQ Double Bass Quartet

Friday, July 22 – 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
 
From classical music to jazz standards, BBQ is sure to please. If you’ve never heard a double bass quartet before, give it a try. Everyone likes BBQ! This concert is free and open to all. Masks encouraged but not mandatory. No tickets required, but space is limited. First come, first served.
 
Summer Concert Series – The Mike Risko Band

The Mike Risko Band is an engaging, high energy rock band playing songs everybody loves from classic rock to contemporary. Enjoy electric energy, awesome guitar solos and rock’n female vocals. Food and beverages will be available to purchase.
 
Fire Department Membership Interest Night

The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department will be holding an informational Q&A for anyone that is interested in joining the Fire Department. The meeting is open to individuals who are 14 years old or older that live/work in or near Croton. Members will be in attendance to answer questions, and refreshments will be served. No prior experience is required.

Colombian pianist and composer Pablo Mayor presents the most intimate, jazz version of his renowned Colombian establishment Folklore Urbano! The fresh sound of the group combines Pablo’s in-depth study of the rhythms of the Caribbean and the music of his native country of Colombia, with an extensive background in jazz composition ranging from trio to big band. Croton Academy Summer Theatre (C.A.S.T.) is thrilled to present its premier production, "You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown," on Friday July 29 and Saturday, July 30 at 7:30 pm, and on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31 at 3:00 pm at CAA Theatre. The cast for this new program is ages 12 through 20. With charm, wit, and heart, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang.
