Monday, January 23rd, 7:00 to 8:00 PM

Have you ever wanted to join a book club for films? Director's Cut is a monthly gathering and open discussion for film enthusiasts at the Croton Free Library. Led by experienced film editor and teacher Keith Fraase, this program will explore the works of a variety of influential filmmakers to better understand how a director’s art builds and evolves over the course of a career. We'll choose one director per month and, throughout the course of the month, watch a few of that director's films. When we meet, we'll discuss what we watched and the filmmakers' careers at large and dissect the art of filmmaking. Christopher Nolan will be the subject of the first meeting. Free and open to all! No experience or registration required. This program meets from 7-8pm on the fourth Monday of each month: Jan. 23, Feb. 27, March 27, April 24, May 22 & June 26.
